High school students' sense of self-worth in mathematics refers to a positive emotional experience generated on the basis of their understanding and evaluation of their own value in the process of mathematics learning.Helplessness in mathematics learning means that after repeated setbacks and failures in the process of mathematics learning,one believes that one's ability to learn mathematics is insufficient and that efforts will not yield results,thus a negative state of mind manifested in emotion,cognition,behavior,and motivation.High school education is more important and meaningful in life a learning stage,at the same time,it is also a critical period for our academic level to improve.This period is not only under great academic pressure,but also the depth and breadth of knowledge learned is greatly increased compared to the compulsory education period.Many students lack self-confidence after suffering repeated setbacks and difficulties in mathematics learning,it is difficult to face failure,resulting in psychological fear,which will seriously affect the mental health of high school students in mathematics learning.Accordingly,in the daily mathematics teaching,how to help students prevent the negative mathematical psychological state,and correctly deal with the negative mathematical psychological state,improve students' mathematics self-worth is a topic that should be paid attention to in current mathematics education.In this paper,295 high school students in Xining city,Qinghai province were investigated on the basis of the self-compiled Questionnaire of high school students' Sense of self-worth in mathematics and the Questionnaire of high school students' helplessness in numerical learning.The mathematical self-worth of high school students,the current situation of mathematical learning,the difference between the two,the difference between the two,the relevant regression,analysis of data using SPSS 20.0 statistics,the main conclusion that it is:(1)The mathematics self-worth of high school students is generally at the upper middle level,its sub-dimensional reality has a significant grade,gender difference,and the ideal self-loss of sub-wealth is not a conspicuous grade,gender difference.(2)The number of high school students' learning helplessness is generally at the lower middle level,its sub-dimensional emotions are helpless,cognitive helpless,behavioral helplessness and motivation have no conspicuous grades,gender differences.(3)Mathematical self-worth of senior high school students was uncommonly negatively correlated with the helplessness of mathematics learning.Mathematical self-value feelings and mathematical acquisitions have no help all child dimensions(emotional helpless,cognitive helplessness,behavioral helplessness,motive helpless)is significantly negatively related.(4)High school students' helplessness in mathematics learning has a significant negative predictive effect on mathematics self-worth.
