Education is the foundation of the Centennial plan.It is an important pillar of national development and growth.Talent is the source of virtue,and virtue is the captain of talent.If we are to fully implement the Party's education policy,we must implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.In December 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the High School Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards(2017),pointing out that the core literacy of physical education and health consists of three elements: motor ability,health behavior and physical morality.It can therefore be concluded that the core quality of physical education is the concentrated embodiment of physical education and plays a role in promoting the implementation of the fundamental task of moral cultivation.The small group teaching model is a new type of teaching model under the development of modern education.Its educational function has the basic characteristics of being compatible with the cultivation objectives of the core literacy of physical education,and to a certain extent complements each other,thus correctly leading the deepening reform of physical education,giving full play to the nurturing function of the subject and effectively promoting the realisation of the cultivation objectives of the core literacy of physical education.Based on the perspective of the core qualities of physical education,this paper adopts the literature method and so on,taking the survey of the current situation of physical education teaching in Xining high school as the starting point of the study,and then analyzing the results of the survey on the basis of the current situation of the application of teaching mode in the teaching of aerobics in Xining high school,and analyzing the problems of the current situation of teaching.On the basis of this,the experimental design and implementation was carried out in the high school aerobics course of the Affiliated Middle School of Qinghai Normal University,taking the senior students of the school as the experimental subjects;using the core qualities of physical education,such as motor ability,health behaviour and physical moral character,as the measurement indicators.By comparing the experimental group with the control group,the differences between the group teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode are identified so that the applicability and advantages of the group teaching mode in teaching aerobics in high school can be analysed.The experimental group was compared with the control group to find out the differences between the group teaching model and the traditional teaching model,so as to analyse the applicability and advantages of the group teaching model in the teaching of aerobics in high school,and then promote the improvement of the teaching quality of the aerobics course in Xining city.The experimental study shows that: the small group teaching mode has less impact on the physical quality of high school students in the short term;the small group teaching mode has a significant effect on the basic skills of high school students in aerobics compared to the traditional teaching mode;the small group teaching mode can effectively promote the formation and development of healthy behaviour of high school students;the small group teaching mode has more advantages than the traditional teaching mode in cultivating the moral character of high school students in physical education.The small-group teaching mode is more advantageous than the traditional teaching mode in cultivating physical education moral character among high school students.The experiment also suggests the following recommendations:firstly,the high schools in Xining should pay more attention to physical education in schools and make bold attempts to update the teaching mode according to the actual teaching situation in Xining;secondly,the high schools in Xining should promote the professionalism of physical education teachers,improve the frequency of applying the small-group teaching mode in combination with the characteristics of teaching contents,and grasp the principles of implementing the mode;secondly,the high schools in Xining should promote the professionalism of physical education teachers,improve the frequency of applying the small-group teaching mode in combination with the characteristics of teaching contents,and grasp the principles of implementing the mode.Secondly,Xining high schools should promote the professionalism of physical education teachers,improve the frequency of application of the small group teaching model by combining the characteristics of the teaching content,and grasp the principles of the implementation of the model.
