The ideological and political curriculum standards of ordinary senior high schools(revised in 2017 edition in 2020)clearly point out that the ideological and political courses of senior high schools are the fundamental task.Classroom teaching activities should be closely combined with social life practice.Through the introduction and exploration of topics,teachers should reform the traditional teaching methods,lead the cognitive process of independent thinking and cooperative inquiry,so as to cultivate students' core literacy of ideological and political subjects,and construct activity subject courses.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,this paper deeply studies the application of topic-based teaching in ideological and political courses in high school,which can gradually deepen the understanding of topic-based classroom teaching rules,and is conducive to teachers to change teaching methods and students' learning methods.This paper aims to follow the guidelines of building activity subject curriculum and effectively implement the practical needs for cultivating students' core literacy.Research thinking ideological and political course the value of thematic teaching method purpose,implementation situation and problems,explore operable,feasible thematic teaching process,enhance the effectiveness of thematic teaching implementation,promote ideological and political teachers to form activity curriculum implementation idea,and in the classroom teaching practice based on guide implementation thematic classroom teaching,for ideological and political disciplines to cultivate students political identity,scientific spirit,rule of law consciousness and public participation and other core literacy.At present,there are many problems in the actual process of this teaching method,which include the school's low attention to topic-based teaching,students' low interest in topic-based teaching,and teachers' poor understanding of topic-based teaching.The teaching situation set by some teachers around the topic is out of touch with the real life of students,and students cannot obtain the emotional experience of real social life.In addition,the degree of students' participation in the topic activities also needs to be cultivated urgently,and there are students completing the task arbitrarily and passively in the exploration of the activities.According to the reasons of these problems,specific optimization countermeasures can be given from three aspects: teachers,students and evaluation system.Firstly,teachers need to improve their ability,including innovative teaching ideas,improve classroom control ability and guide students;Secondly,teachers must improve students' acceptance of topic teaching,motivate students to participate in topic classroom teaching,and actively conduct classroom inquiry and discussion activities.Finally,the teaching evaluation mechanism can be improved by optimizing the evaluation subject,evaluation method and evaluation results.As a new teaching method,topic-style teaching needs the support of a mature teaching evaluation system.By establishing an objective and fair teaching evaluation standard,the teaching evaluation system of ideological and political courses can be gradually improved.It is hoped that these targeted improvement measures will provide new impetus for the effectiveness of ideological and senior high school political courses in teaching practice.
