In recent years,with the development of society,the demand for high-quality and high-level talents has increased,and the curriculum reform has also entered a stage of deepening development,which has brought new challenges to the structural reform of the supply side of talents in the field of higher education.In order to speed up the reform process of higher education and build a high-level talent training system,the Ministry of Education proposed to eliminate "water courses" and create "golden courses".It believes that exploring innovative course teaching requires colleges and universities to sort out and reform each course.Through literature analysis,it is found that the use of project teaching method is an effective path for educational reform.The high-level project-based teaching has the main characteristics of the advanced learning teaching mode,and is an important magic weapon to effectively realize the advanced learning.For undergraduates majoring in hotel management,Front Office Management and Service is a compulsory core course.Promoting the curriculum reform can effectively cultivate students' interest in learning,improve their independent learning ability,form professional awareness,and achieve the goal of high-level talent training.However,in the current course teaching,teaching methods and course assessment methods are still limited to the traditional model.In order to improve the teaching quality of the course and promote the reform of the "Front Office Management and Service" course,this research adopts a variety of methods of data analysis and qualitative analysis to carry out research.The main contents are as follows:First,the current situation of course teaching is investigated through questionnaires.It analyzes various factors such as students,curriculum implementation and resource guarantee,puts forward the problems and reasons existing in students' own aspects and curriculum implementation,and conducts a feasibility analysis of curriculum reform based on project teaching method.Secondly,introduce the project teaching method and combine constructivism,Herzberg dual factors and DMC motivation theory to realize curriculum reform,and realize the systematic modular curriculum reform through reform of curriculum objectives,curriculum resources,curriculum content,curriculum design and curriculum evaluation.Third,apply the general idea of curriculum reform and design to the practical teaching of "Front Office Management and Service" for undergraduates majoring in hotel management,and carry out a "stepped" project teaching practice exploration from simple to complex.Fourth,collect the teaching effect questionnaires filled out by students before and after the project teaching,and evaluate the effect of curriculum reform.It is found that students' learning interest,knowledge,skills and abilities have improved in all dimensions,but the improvement in each dimension does not explain the project.Teaching no longer needs to be optimized.In order to expand the dimension of evaluation and optimize the design of curriculum reform,this study also collects students' self-reflection and summary reports during the project teaching process,uses grounded theory to conduct qualitative research,and explores the influencing factors of curriculum reform teaching based on project teaching method.Finally,combine the above research and practice process to summarize and reflect.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The systematic module design connects theory and practice teaching.(2)Creatively create scenarios to expand students' international horizons.(3)Motivation flow runs through the model to improve students' higher-order thinking ability.(4)The whole process of interest guides and cultivates students' job awareness.(5)Fully considers the four major influencing factors to achieve high-quality project teaching.Finally,through reflection,it puts forward the strategy of improving the quality of the course,the research problem and prospect.
