In the 10 th meeting of the Central Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reform,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed,"Giving the people a greater sense of access." The level of rural teachers’ sense of attainment concerns the pace of development of rural education and determines whether it can inspire rural teachers to devote themselves to rural education.Therefore,enhancing the sense of access of rural secondary school teachers is of great significance to the revitalisation of rural education.This study mainly uses questionnaires and interviews,supplemented by a case study method,to analyse the current situation of teachers’ sense of access in rural secondary schools through questionnaires and interviews with teachers in three rural secondary schools in District T of Chongqing,and summarises the following current situation: rural teachers’ overall income has increased,but the purchasing power of their salaries has decreased;emphasis is placed on teachers’ professionalism,but the sense of professional belonging is poor;schools promote the principle of fairness,but the results The current situation is that teachers’ social status has improved,but their educational aspirations are difficult to realise.Secondly,combining the questionnaires and interview texts,we found that the factors influencing the sense of access of rural secondary school teachers were: the gap between urban and rural economic development,and the lack of a dignified atmosphere for teachers in rural areas;from the government’s side,we found that the implementation of policies was insufficient,the training model for rural teachers was solidified,and the effectiveness of the honour system for rural teachers was hampered;from the school’s side,we found that the school management system still needed to be improved,and the distribution method of the school In terms of school factors,we found that the school management system has yet to be improved and the school allocation system lacks fairness;in terms of individual teachers,we found that teachers are not strongly aware of professional upgrading,their professionalism needs to be improved,and their professional ideals are not strong enough.Finally,combining the analysis of the current situation of rural secondary school teachers’ sense of access and its influencing factors,this study attempts to improve rural secondary school teachers’ sense of access in five aspects: firstly,to comprehensively protect rural teachers’ income and improve their sense of material access;secondly,to develop channels for professional quality improvement and improve teachers’ sense of professional access;thirdly,to continuously improve the school The fourth is to motivate teachers to achieve self-identity and increase their sense of achievement;the fifth is to reinvigorate the social atmosphere of respect for teachers and enhance their sense of spiritual attainment.
