PAD class is a kind of teaching method that allocates half of the classroom time to teachers and the other half to students for interactive learning through discussion.It emphasizes on cultivating students' ability to digest and explore knowledge.The new curriculum standard points out that it is necessary to create a democratic classroom for students to improve their interest in learning and cultivate their comprehensive practical ability.At the same time,the policy of “ease the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education”(hereinafter referred to as “Double Reduction”)published in 2021 indicates that teachers should focus on classroom teaching reform and improve the quality of teaching.This thesis studies the application of PAD class teaching method in the teaching of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school,which not only meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard,but also helps to cultivate students' subject core accomplishment and independent learning ability in interactive learning.This study is mainly carried out from the following four aspects: First of all,this thesis summaries the concept of PAD class teaching method and other related theories,and expounds the significance of its application in the teaching of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school.Secondly,this thesis investigates the actual application of PAD class teaching method in the teaching of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school,further explains the existing problems of its application in the teaching process,and analyzes the causes.Next,from the perspective of teachers and students,this thesis elaborates the implementation principles and approaches of PAD class teaching method in the teaching of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school,and then makes the teaching design.Finally,combined with the investigation results and specific practice,this thesis discusses the experience of the PAD class teaching method in the teaching of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures: first of all,it is necessary to strengthen teachers' study and practice of the PAD class theory;1.strengthen teachers' study and practice of the PAD class theory;2.enhance students' participation and scientificity in the discussion of PAD class teaching;3.accurately analyze the learning situation and learning effect,and reasonably arrange homework;4.formulate and perfect the evaluation mechanism of PAD class teaching.
