Philosophy and Culture,as one of the compulsory textbooks for the ideological and political subjects of senior high schools,plays an important role in cultivating students' philosophical thinking and guiding them to form a correct outlook on life,values,and world outlook.The update of the structure system and content arrangement of the unified textbooks requires corresponding improvement in the teaching methods,and the improvement of the teachers' teaching methods is also an inevitable requirement of the new curriculum reform.Under the current trend of education and teaching reform,if teachers only rely on the traditional teaching mode to impart the knowledge of "Philosophy and Culture",it will be boring and rigid,ignoring the dominant position of students,and is not conducive to the comprehensive development of students' comprehensive quality.Teaching blanks are based on Gestalt theory,subject education theory,Zeignick effect theory,and constructivism theory.."Philosophy and Culture",as a condensation of the old textbooks "Cultural Life" and "Life and Philosophy",has both theoretical depth and ideological height,and the "Reading and Thinking" column is a unique blank spot in this textbook.Therefore,teachers can use the teaching blanks in the teaching of "Philosophy and Culture",which can play the educational role of new textbooks,cultivate students' core literacy of disciplines,allow teachers to achieve professional growth,and students have a better sense of classroom experience.Through the investigation,it is found that the teaching blank method in the application of this course has the lack of teaching blank presets in teaching design,insufficient resource mining of textbook blank space,poor use of teaching blank by some teachers,which leads to "cold scene" in the classroom,and some students are not interested in teaching blank.The relatively low level of classroom participation.The author analyzes the causes of the problem and finds that the reasons generally include the fact that ideological and political teaching practice has not yet followed the new trend of curriculum reform,classroom teaching is still shackled by the“teaching for exams” of exam-oriented education,and some teachers' professional quality of using blank spaces in teaching is relatively high.It is not high,and the comprehensive quality of some students participating in the teaching blank is slightly insufficient.In order to optimize the application of teaching blanks in the "Philosophy and Culture" class,teachers need to strengthen the professional quality of using teaching blanks,deeply cultivate the teaching blank resources of "Philosophy and Culture",and pay attention to the teaching blank nodes of "Philosophy and Culture".,Cultivate students' awareness and ability to participate in teaching blank space.Finally,through the combination of countermeasures,a targeted analysis is made on the specific examples of teaching blank space used in the "Philosophy and Culture" class,so as to help ideological and political teachers to better utilize the advantages of teaching blank space and effectively improve the quality of classroom teaching.
