With the continuous development of education informatization,the teaching form of primary school programming class is gradually diversified.The purpose of programming class in primary school is to cultivate students' interest in programming,so that students can have a good feeling and experience.However,there are still many problems in the current primary school programming classroom.The traditional classroom teaching is rigid and boring,which is difficult to maintain students' attention,and the students' programming learning motivation is not ideal.Therefore,some schools have adopted the teaching mode of project-based learning to stimulate and maintain students' learning motivation,but it is not difficult to find some problems in the application process according to the survey results.Therefore,how to design and perfect the project-based learning mode to better stimulate and maintain students' learning motivation level and cultivate students' higher-order thinking ability is an urgent problem to be solved in current teaching.Based on this,by combining ARCS motivation model with project-based learning and using design-based research method,the author designs a classroom practice framework of project-based learning that inspires and maintains learners' learning motivation,optimizes teaching strategies,and continuously improves the framework by applying it to classroom practice.In order to put forward can better stimulate and maintain primary school students learning motivation,can be promoted project learning classroom practice framework.Through literature retrieval,the status quo of project-based learning and ARCS motivation model at home and abroad was analyzed,and the status quo of students' motivation in programming teaching in S primary school was investigated,and research questions were proposed on this basis.Combined with expert interview method,a project-based classroom practice framework based on ARCS motivation model is constructed and applied to teaching practice.Questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview were used to obtain the data after the implementation of the framework,as the basis for further iterative improvement of the framework.Finally,a generalized project-based classroom practice framework based on ARCS motivation model is proposed.
