Teachers are the foundation of education and the source of promoting education.Middle school teachers shoulder the important task of training qualified builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The words and deeds of middle school teachers have an important impact on the formation of correct political outlook,world outlook,values and outlook on life of teenagers in border areas.At present,with the in-depth development of reform and opening up,exchanges among countries around the world are becoming more and more frequent,and various ideological trends and values are emerging.If the middle school teachers do not have firm ideals and beliefs,and lack the ability to identify various ideological trends,then the middle school teachers are likely to be affected by some bad social trends,and then weaken their ability to educate people.At the same time,the new era has put forward new requirements for middle school teachers.How can middle school teachers fulfill the task of building virtue and cultivating people entrusted by the party and the state? How to meet the people's demand for higher quality education? The author believes that strengthening the ideological and political education of middle school teachers is the key.The author believes that strengthening the ideological and political education of middle school teachers in the border areas of Guangxi is not only the need to implement the party's and the state's educational policies,run education to the satisfaction of the people,but also the need to solve the current problems of middle school teachers in the border areas and improve the ideological and political quality of middle school teachers.In order to better carry out the research on the ideological and political education of middle school teachers in the border areas of Guangxi.The author's Thoughts on the ideological and political education of Marxist classical writers;The important expositions on teachers and ideological and political education by the leading groups of the past dynasties in New China have been combed in detail.Field visits and questionnaires were conducted to the educational administrative departments and some middle schools in six border counties of Fangchenggang,Chongzuo and Baise in Guangxi.According to the survey results,the author summarizes the main practices and achievements of Ideological and political education for middle school teachers in the border areas of Guangxi.The main methods are as follows: a leadership system with the leadership of the municipal and county Party committees,the overall planning of the Education Working Committee and the specific responsibility of each school has been formed;The content system with political theory education as the key point and teachers' morality and style education as the main line;The working mode of combining teachers' Ideological and political education with regular meetings,organizational life,teachers' training and cultural and sports activities;It is an assessment method that integrates teachers' Ideological and political education with the assessment of teachers' morality and style and annual performance assessment.The main achievements are as follows: first,we strictly implemented the decisions and arrangements made by the superiors,and successfully carried out all kinds of theme education.Second,we have deeply explored the educational resources with border characteristics,and the characteristics of activities have become increasingly prominent.Third,the system and mechanism were initially established.Fourth,the overall ideological and political quality of middle school teachers has been improving day by day.According to the present situation of middle school teachers' Ideological and political education in the border areas of Guangxi,the author analyzes the main problems and reasons.There are five problems: first,attention needs to be improved.Second,the system and mechanism are not smooth enough.Third,the pertinence of educational content needs to be improved.Fourth,the carrier of education needs to be enriched.Fifth,the assessment mechanism of teachers' Ideological and political education needs to be improved.There are four main reasons: first,the importance and particularity of Ideological and political education for middle school teachers in Guangxi border areas are not fully understood.Second,the pressure transmission is not strong enough.Third,the environmental atmosphere is not strong enough.Fourth,the limited human and material resources in the border areas affect the guarantee level of teachers' Ideological and political education.According to the main problems existing in the ideological and political education of middle school teachers in the border areas of Guangxi,the author puts forward seven suggestions on strengthening the ideological and political education of local middle school teachers.One is to enhance the pressure transmission and improve the sense of responsibility for teachers' Ideological and political education.The second is to clarify the function orientation and improve the system and mechanism of teachers' Ideological and political education.Third,improve the content system of teachers' Ideological and political education and highlight the pertinence of Ideological and political education.Fourth,adhere to the combination of Ideological and political education and solving practical problems.Fifthly,enrich the educational carriers and broaden the channels of Ideological and political education for middle school teachers.Sixth,improve the assessment mechanism and give play to the role of assessment and evaluation baton.Seventh,strengthen the guarantee mechanism and improve the guarantee level of teachers' Ideological and political education.
