The construction of a strong sports country is an important strategic goal for the development of sports in China,and a series of initiatives related to the construction of a strong sports country have never stopped since the General Office of the State Council issued the Outline of the Construction of a Strong Sports Country in September 2019.School physical education is one of the basic indicators in the construction of a strong sports country,and school physical education at the learning stage of junior high school,as the high ground in basic education,has strong research significance.The physical education environment has an important impact on the teaching of physical education in schools.The study is guided by theories related to physical education,and analyzes the current situation of the physical education teaching environment in junior middle schools in Zhangzhou City Xiangcheng District in the context of the construction of a strong sports nation.The study also aims to explore the internal linkages and to achieve the realm of "the first is to turn the mundane into the real,and the last is to return to the real and the mundane".The article uses literature,questionnaires,interviews,and mathematical and statistical methods to study the current situation of the physical education environment in six junior high schools in Zhangzhou City,and to provide useful reference materials for the improvement of the physical education environment and the quality of physical education in Zhangzhou City.The following conclusions were drawn after collation.1.From the physical environment:(1)the unique natural environment of Zhangzhou City's Xiangcheng District with abundant sunshine and hot weather provides unique conditions for the development of physical education classes;(2)Zhangzhou City's Xiangcheng District,as the central city,has experienced sustained GDP growth in recent years,which has laid a good economic foundation for the development of education in the area;(3)although the physical education venues all meet the requirements in terms of quantity,non-standardized specifications and quality of the venues are common problems,which can adversely affect students' bodies as well as their interest in sports;(4)In terms of sports equipment and facilities,Zhangzhou No.2 Middle School lacks a soccer field,Zhangzhou No.3 Middle School's sports equipment is not maintained in a timely manner,and Zhangzhou No.5 Middle School's sports field covers an insufficient area,so the satisfaction of teachers and students with sports venues and equipment still needs to be improved;(5)In terms of the arrangement of physical education course periods,teachers and students Both teachers and students are more satisfied.2.From the perspective of institutional environment:(1)Zhangzhou City Junior High School has a significant shortage of knowledge about sports laws and regulations,and teachers and students have a shallow knowledge of sports-related laws and regulations;(2)Zhangzhou No.1 Middle School is relatively better in terms of sports teaching and research activities,which is worth learning from other schools in Zhangzhou City;(3)physical education teachers are standardized in the implementation of physical education classroom routines;(4)recess exercises are better implemented,but the form is too formal.(4)the implementation of recess is good,but the form is too single;(5)the evaluation of physical education has not yet been institutionalized,and it is necessary to strengthen the leadership of the system;(6)the formulation of physical education teaching plan and syllabus are very standardized.3.In terms of humanistic environment:(1)the teachers' strength still needs to be strengthened,and the structural ratio of new and old teachers needs to be improved;(2)the student class size is more reasonable,and teachers and students indicate that class size has less influence on physical education teaching;(3)the teacher-student relationship is generally good,and students have higher expectations of teacher-student relationship;(4)the school's physical education classroom atmosphere needs to be optimized.The following strategies are proposed to optimize the current physical education environment in Zhangzhou City Xiangcheng District Junior High School: in terms of physical environment,the school should actively report to the government on the shortcomings of the physical education environment,so that leaders and relevant departments can understand the situation and pay attention to it,and actively raise funds for the targeted expansion of physical education indoor venues and the purchase of additional physical education equipment to improve the satisfaction of teachers and students in physical education;in terms of institutional In terms of the environment,we should increase the publicity of the knowledge of sports laws and regulations on campus,actively promote the development of sports teaching and research activities,strengthen communication among physical education teachers,and jointly explore new ideas for the development of school sports;encourage schools to change the status quo of only one form of recess exercises,and actively promote the evaluation of physical education to form an institutionalized system;in terms of the
