Proposed by the Communist Party of China in the New Era,"Morality education" is the fundamental task of Chinese education in which the Student Union plays a significant role.Not only does it provides a real scene of transforming moral cognition into moral practice for students but also is a beneficial supplement to the curriculum teaching.Since "Culture education" is one of the main ways to implement "morality education",the author takes the organizational culture of the Student Union as the research object.Adopting a mixed research method,this study mainly includes literature research method,case study method,observation method,interviewing method,questionnaire survey method and object analysis method.Based on the organizational culture theory and cultural ecology theory of Edgar H.Schein,this study takes high school students of NS high school in Sichuan province as a case to carry out the investigation on the culture atmosphere and organizational culture of the school,trying to present the characteristics of them in a comprehensive way and figure out the problems and causes.The ultimate goal of the study is to put forward corresponding measures and solutions to optimize organizational culture of the Student Union.The study shows that there are some characteristics of utilitarianism in the cultural atmosphere and the organizational culture of the Student Union of NS high school,which are mainly embodied in three aspects: the false score theory of education,the one-sided faith of cultivating potential key university students and the insular evaluating system depending only on result;At the same time,the study also finds that apart from the management function,the educational function and service function of NS High School Student Union have not been fully implemented.Following the problems mentioned above,this study analyzes the reasons why the school lacks organizational cultural vitality in the Student Union organization,which are manifested on three levels: first and foremost,the members of the Student Union lacking subjective initiative;what's more,the weak effectiveness of activities and lastly,the weak vitality of cultural works.Most importantly,this study presents some suggestions to enhance the vitality of the activities of the Student Union in three ways:implementing the faith of "cultivating key competence",conducting the management of pursuing practical result and putting the evaluating system of “diversity of the subjects and focusing on the overall ” into effect.
