| This paper proposes the novel STEAHM education concept which incorporates the Humanities into STEAM(Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Mathematics)that came out of the America and has been cited and practiced widely.The main studied problems include:(1)Characteristics of integration breadth and representation depth of textbooks in China,America and Canada;(2)Distribution and quantity of STEAHM knowledge points of three samples;(3)Three-level and sixdimension STEAHM knowledge integration of "electrochemistry";(4)Textbook compilation and teaching implementation strategies based on STEAHM concept;(5)Teaching practice conbing knowledge tests and questionnaires.Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the background,status and research meaning.Then,the textbook structure analysis using Flow Map methos and the interdisciplinary in-depth and integration analyses of STEAHM education concept for the "Electrochemistry" of sample textbooks are achieved based on the statistical method of textbook content coding and the three-level and sixdimension of STEAHM.The main research contributions illustrate:(1)the integration breadth and representation depth of Chinese PEP textbook are inferior to the foregin ones;(2)the distribution breadth of STEAHM of PEP textbook is samller than that of the samples textbooks,indicating that the interdisciplinary processing of PEP’s is inadequate;(3)the PEP textbook pay more attention to the integration breadth of STEAHM knowledges while the other two focus on the integration depth and rigorous logicality.(4)the STEAHM teaching strategies can effectively improve classroom efficiency and cohesion,and promote knowledge transformation and absorption of students.The characteristics of this study include:(1)The efficiency and practicability of STEAHM education are verified through comparative study of textbooks and teaching practice with control variable methods;(2)The scientific preciseness of research results is improved by quantitative statistical analysis. |
