As a public cultural and educational institution,museums bear important responsibilities in social education.Since the implementation of quality-oriented education in China,simple school education has been unable to meet the needs of all-round development of primary and secondary school students,and the educational form of museums gradually gives full play to its advantages.Museum education is no longer limited to the dissemination of historical and cultural knowledge,but pays more attention to social culture and the spiritual connotation of the public,and builds a platform for primary and secondary school students to improve their cultural quality.At present,the education of primary and secondary schools in Chinese museums is not mature enough in the aspects of education concept,education mode and education object research,and there are also problems in the planning and implementation of educational activities.Only by taking the problem as the guidance and making up the shortcomings in the educational activities can we realize the qualitative leap in the educational activities of primary and secondary schools in museums.The research object of this article as a "museum education of primary and secondary schools",refers to the museum for audience planning and implementation of primary and secondary school education activities,the author has chosen as the national education base minors,studies the practice base of primary and middle school students around the country and the provinces and cities two levels of patriotism education base of liaoning province as a case study of museum,To carry on the research summary to its primary and secondary education activities.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is to comb the development history,main characteristics and existing problems of primary and secondary education in museums in China.The second chapter is the investigation of the present situation of primary and secondary education activities in Liaoning Provincial museums,including museum resources,general situation of primary and secondary education activities and the classification of primary and secondary education activities.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics and deficiencies of primary and secondary education activities of liaoning Provincial museum on the basis of investigation and research,and puts forward feasible suggestions for primary and secondary education activities.
