Recitation, perception and annotation are the traditional methods of reading and studying in ancient China, which contains profound classical aesthetic theory and literary criticism thoughts. In the existing research on the teaching of ancient poetry, the research focusing on the single use of the above three methods has been relatively full and comprehensive, and the content of all aspects covers a wide range. However, the discussion on the combined use of these three methods in the teaching of ancient poetry is still lacking, which is the focus of this paper. The research is based on the problems existing in the teaching content, process and method of ancient Chinese poetry class in senior high school, and tries to realize the modern improvement of traditional reading method in Chinese reading teaching through the absorption and reference of classical poetic theory and aesthetic thoughts.Based on the connotation, characteristics and levels of each method as well as the natural relationship among them, this paper seeks to use the three methods in different levels in order to realize the goal of "enriching aesthetic experience" to "enhancing aesthetic judgment" in ancient poetry reading teaching.Following the path from theoretical discussion to practical analysis, the research answers the question of "why and how to use it comprehensively" and builds up a teaching model based on the comprehensive application of “ recitation-perception-annotation ” method. In view of the changes of teaching objectives and texts, the model is adjusted accordingly. In this way,the paper opens up a new perspective for the current teaching of ancient poetry.
