| In the stage of continuous promotion of curriculum reform,the development and implementation of core literacy is one of the very important elements.As an important part of the core literacy,Chemistry core literacy is a reflection of the comprehensive quality of students’ learning through the subject.The General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)proposed that "the diagnostic and developmental functions of homework on chemistry core literacy should be emphasized".Chemistry homework is an indispensable part of chemistry teaching and learning.Chemistry homework is also an intermediate part of curriculum implementation and teaching evaluation,and is something that teachers and students have to face every day.However,current homework design has not received sufficient attention,and its function and value are difficult to be realized.Therefore,this study explores how to better utilize the function and value of chemistry homework based on core literacy.This paper starts with a review of the literature related to core literacy and chemistry homework at home and abroad.Through questionnaires and interviews,the author collected and analyzed information about the current status of first year high school chemistry homework,and summarized the problems and causes of current chemistry homework.In view of the problems of chemistry homework design,combined with relevant theories and literature,and based on teaching practice,firstly,the basis of chemistry homework design is proposed: chemistry curriculum standard as the fundamental guide,textbook content as the text carrier,and core literacy development as the value appeal.Secondly,it is proposed that the principles of chemistry homework design include adhering to the principle of relevance,implementing the principle of practicability,paying attention to the principle of contextuality,highlighting the principle of openness,following the principle of hierarchy,and focusing on the principle of diversity.Again,the flow chart of the design of first year high school chemistry homework based on core literacy is proposed.Based on the idea of chemistry homework design,designing chemistry homework cases by selecting some chapters of the Human Education version of chemistry textbooks.Then,put the homework cases into practice.Finally,the effectiveness of the chemistry homework was examined by questionnaires and interviews.The findings show that the new chemistry homework design model can better diagnose students’ learning levels;can reduce students’ burdens;meet the needs of students at different levels of development and to promote the development of students’ core literacy in chemistry.Therefore,the design of senior chemistry homework based on core literacy has certain rationality. |
