Zhang Yinlin is an outstanding historian in modern China.He is quite accomplished in literature,history and philosophy.From 1935 to 1937,Zhang Yinlin was commissioned by the Ministry of Education to compile history textbooks."Chinese History Compendium" and "Children's Chinese History" are the results of his textbook compilation in the past two years.Zhang Yinlin's thoughts on compiling history textbooks were influenced by the new historical thoughts,foreign educational thoughts and the1935 historical educational reform thoughts.This article analyzes Zhang Yinlin's primary school history textbook "Chinese History for Children" and the high school history textbook "Chinese History" from four aspects: history textbook compilation style,history textbook content selection,history textbook text expression and history textbook connection.The history textbook for elementary school compiled by Zhang Yinlin draws on the writing experience of foreign children's history books in style,and adopts a character-centered writing method in content.At the same time,Zhang Yinlin also made new attempts on the language expression of history textbooks and the connection of history textbooks of different stages.The history textbook compiled by Zhang Yinlin contains a wealth of educational thoughts.The aesthetic education thoughts,nationalist education thoughts and personality education thoughts contained in his history textbooks still have reference significance for our current history education.Zhang Yinlin's aesthetic education thought advocates starting from the artistic quality of history and fully excavating the aesthetic education materials in history;Zhang Yinlin advocates that the elementary school stage is a key period for cultivating students' national consciousness,and that students' national pride should be stimulated through Chinese excellent traditional culture;Zhang Yinlin It is advocated to give full play to the role of historical figures in cultivating students' ideal personality,and to attach importance to the status of legal education in personality education.
