In the new era of China,education is still the top priority of development.We all need to pay attention to issues such as what kinds of students of new era we want and to what means we can achieve that goal.Against this backdrop,the practical innovation of ideology and politics within courses,which promotes the collaborative education function of various courses,came into being.At present,ideology and politics within courses have been gradually carried out in the classrooms of some universities as well as primary and secondary schools in China.Junior high school is the key to ideological and political education,because it is the stage in which students' thinking gradually matures,and it is also a critical period for the establishment and development of students' values as well as their virtues and habits.The ideological and political education in junior highs plays an important role in cultivating talents in the new era.Music class,among all subjects,plays a special role and is closely related to our lives.The integration of ideological and political education into junior high school music class can endow students with a different learning experience,and is conducive to cultivating sound talents with aspirations and patriotic enthusiasm.It will also help these successors of the new era contribute more to our cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the introduction,this paper introduces the background,current researches,research methods,etc.In the main part,taking the connotation of the ideological and political education in junior high music courses as the breakthrough point,the feasibility,necessity and significance of integrating the ideological and political education into junior high music courses are elaborated.Subsequently,an investigation was carried out on the implementation of the ideological and political education within current junior high music courses.Questionnaires and interviews were conducted with junior high school students and music teachers of the Middle School Affiliated to Huaibei Normal University.Analysis concerning the results was put forward in this paper.Then,taking the junior high school music textbook of People's Music Publishing House as an example,this paper discussed three ideological and political elements in the textbook.Taking one of the lessons as an example,a lesson plan was designed.Some students were then interviewed and investigated.The author then compared the results after the implementation of the ideological and political education within the music course with the previous ones.Finally,the optimization strategy and prospect of the implementation of ideological and political education of junior high school music courses are made,and the merits and demerits of this study are summarized.
