The study of teachers’ professional level has always been a hot area of??educational research.As the reserve army of middle school mathematics education,what is the level of mathematics knowledge for middle school mathematics pre-service teachers? What is the specific performance? Including how to improve the knowledge level of pre-service teachers for mathematics? These questions are worth pondering.In the 1980s,American scholar Bauer applied the subject teaching knowledge(PCK)of Professor Shulman to the field of mathematics,and proposed the mathematics knowledge for teaching(MKT)and divided it into two categories:mathematics disciplines.Knowledge and mathematical content knowledge,including sub-categories of knowledge in six dimensions,are the structural framework for scientific research on teaching-oriented mathematical knowledge.This study takes MKT as the research framework and takes 138 pre-service teachers as the research object,and conducts research from five dimensions: general content knowledge,specialized content knowledge,horizontal and vertical content knowledge,teaching and content knowledge,and content and teaching knowledge.Status quo of MKT level of statistics and probability knowledge of mathematics preservice teachers.The research mainly adopts the questionnaire test method and interview method.First,by sorting out the relevant research on teachers’ teaching knowledge,statistics and probability,and formulating the test questionnaire;then,the questionnaire is predicted and revised,and officially distributed to the subjects under test;secondly,the reliability of the test is tested by using MATLAB software,and the Six experts in the field of mathematics teaching in middle schools were invited to certify the content validity;finally,according to the MKT scores of the subjects,10 pre-service teachers of mathematics in middle schools with three MKT levels of high,medium and low were selected for interviews.The results of the questionnaire test and interview show that:(1)the overall level of MKT about statistics and probability of pre-service mathematics teachers in middle schools is not high;(2)the subject content knowledge about statistics and probability has been preliminarily acquired;(3)about the subject teaching of statistics and probability The knowledge is relatively weak;(4)There is a big difference in the knowledge level of statistics and probability subjects,but there is little difference in the knowledge level of subject teaching.According to the research conclusions,some feasible suggestions are put forward to improve the MKT level of pre-service mathematics teachers in middle school,aiming to provide valuable reference for the middle school mathematics teachers.
