Citizen science literacy affects national competitiveness,and its level is closely related to science education.In recent years,the problems of weakening students' experience,fragmentary inquiry process and simple evaluation method are prominent in science education and teaching in primary schools in China.Accelerating the innovation of science education mode is the key to the high quality development of science education.The "5E" teaching model,based on constructivism,plays an important role in highlighting students' dominant position,promoting the structuralization and hierarchy of the inquiry process,constructing subject concepts and promoting the diversification of evaluation methods.Based on the investigation of the current situation of scientific inquiry learning in primary schools,this study uses questionnaire method,interview method and classroom observation method to analyze the existing problems and causes of the problems,and analyzes the advantages of "5E" teaching mode in inquiry learning from the effectiveness and feasibility.Based on this,This paper designs teaching strategies and implementation steps of "5E" teaching mode applied to inquiry-based learning,and forms a teaching design case of "Flower of Plants" based on "5E" teaching mode.First,this study explore from consciousness,exploring ability,to explore the process,to explore the effect and analyze the elementary school science inquiry learning in five dimensions explore evaluation exist insufficient understanding of inquiry learning,to explore the process too fixed,students' main body status is not prominent,lack of discipline construction and application of the concept of ability training and assessment way old five questions;The reasons are analyzed from three aspects: teachers' insufficient application ability of inquiry learning influenced by traditional educational concepts,students' weak awareness of inquiry and unbalanced development of inquiry ability,schools' insufficient attention to inquiry learning and imperfect external support system.Secondly,the validity of "5E" teaching mode applied to primary school scientific inquiry learning is illustrated from three aspects: fit with curriculum design concept,accord with the characteristics of primary school students' scientific cognitive development,and reflect the construction nature of learning.The feasibility of "5E" teaching mode is illustrated from three aspects: the same teaching essence,similar teaching process,and consistent teaching characteristics.Classroom observation analysis it is concluded that the model of "five e" teaching elementary school science inquiry learning to strengthen theoretical study,clarify the connotation of inquiry learning,improve inquiry teaching ability,the innovative application of the new model,facing all students,pay attention to individual differences,based on the actual situation,to strengthen the construction of discipline concept and application,based on learning objectives,The five teaching strategies of diversified evaluation method and the "5E" teaching mode are applied to the five implementation steps of primary scientific inquiry learning: attraction,inquiry,explanation,transfer and evaluation.Finally,based on the teaching mode of "5E",a teaching design case of "Flower of Plants" for the fifth grade of science in Qingdao primary school was formed.
