Research On The Design Of Inquiry Learning Worksheet For Science Museums Facing Family Groups

With the rapid development of science and technology,the improvement of the public scientific literacy level has been widely concerned by countries all over the world.As a typical representative of informal learning situations,science museum plays an extremely important role in science education,and its educational functions are increasingly valued.While science museum is booming,its educational functions have not been well developed.Worksheet,as an effective tool for venue education and school education cooperation,can solve this problem.However,the research on worksheet is still in the preliminary exploration stage.The phenomenon is widespread,such as the blind development of the worksheet,the design of the worksheet is like a test paper,etc.Then,how to design a scientific and effective worksheet is worthy of further discussion.Most of the existing worksheet-related researches are about the design study of museum worksheet.There are very few researches on the study design of science museums,not to mention the study for different groups.Attempting to explore the study design of science museum worksheets for family groups which are the main group of visitors of science museums is of great significance for optimizing the educational function of the science and technology museum.Science museum education has the natural superior conditions of physical education,and has unique advantages in creating contexts.When simulating real scenes,it creates a kind of atmosphere that is the same as the real working environment of scientists.There is an inevitable connection between science museum education and inquiry learning.Therefore,based on the theoretical perspective of “inquiry learning”,this study carried out the design research of the inquiry worksheet of science museum for family groups,in order to optimize the educational function of the science museum and improve the quality of learners' visits.On the basis of combing the related literature about informal science study,science museum education,worksheet,parent-child interaction and the inquiry analysis of typical study cases at home and abroad,this paper found that the worksheet design for science museums for family groups should be follow the guides that involve attractive exhibits,provide exhibits and guides,design around the subject or core issues,set rich and varied questions,and guide students to communicate with their parents.Under the guidance of the 5E teaching mode,this paper constructed a framework of the inquiry worksheet of science museum for family groups based on above principles,including observing the exhibits,asking questions,self-exploration,forming explanations,expanding application,and communicating evaluation.In order to verify the reliability and effectiveness of design principles and framework,this paper analyzed the exhibits of science museum,scientific curriculum standards and scientific textbooks.According to the design principles and framework of the inquiry-based worksheet of science and technology museum,the students' worksheet and the parent guidance form of "great Investigation of Magic geomorphology" were designed aimed at "Sculpture of Nature" exhibition area in the Earth Mystery Exhibition Hall of the Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences combined the attitudes,existing knowledge level and life experience of visiting subjects.Based on the suggestions of experts in subject area,scientific education researchers,science and technology librarians,and science teachers,student worksheet and parent guidance sheet suitable for parent-child families were eventually confirmed through two updates.Through the feedback of experts,the science and technology museum inquiry worksheet in this paper could improve the quality of learners' visits,and optimize the educational function of the science museum by guiding students to explore and discover,construct the knowledge.
