In March 2014,the opinions of the Ministry of Education on deepening the overall curriculum reform and implementing the fundamental task of creating a person with virtue pointed out that,it was necessary to study and formulate the core literacy system and academic quality standards for the development of students,as well as further clarify the specific educational objectives and tasks of various academic sections and subjects to perfect the relevant standards of curriculum teaching in universities,primary and secondary schools according to the system of core literacy development of students.Subsequently,geologists put forward geographical literacy,that is,the relatively stable psychological character developed by the learner after studying geography,including geographical knowledge,geographical viewpoint,geographical method,geographical ability,geographical attitude,geographical emotion and so on.Then,they put forward the geography core literacy: man-land coordination view,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition,geographical practice.In 2016,geography in Sichuan was incorporated into the national volume,and the examination of students' geographical literacy was paid more attention to in the national examination.The concept of geography is the reflection of the student's mind to the geographical phenomenon,the geography things,the geography evolution process,and the geography law,which is also the foundation and the theory basis of recognizing the geographical things and the precondition for students to understand,study and apply the geographical principles,thus,it has a high degree of abstraction and generalization.As the expression of geographical core literacy,geographical concept is the key component of the system of students' geographical core literacy.The core literacy is the result of deepening,continuation and concretion of quality education,From the perspective of discipline,it is equivalent to the core concept or key words.If geographical core literacy lead the concept of geography,Their relationships are like "the upper" guides "the lower".Geography concept teaching based on the cultivation of Core Literacy is beneficial to students,who can move from the memory of specific knowledge to the perspective of geography,form the concept of subject,the perception and understanding of subject methodological thought,which can enable the students enlighten and generate their geographical wisdom.Based on the cultivation of students' geographical core literacy,this paper explores effective concept teaching strategies from 4 aspects,that is,the formation of geographical concepts,the interpretation of concepts,the application of concepts and the evaluation of concepts.The paper is have six parts:First of all,it introduces the background and significance of the research,the current situation of domestic and foreign researches.Some research results of concept teaching in senior high schools are analyzed and the author summarizes and discusses the present concept teaching in senior high schools,then introduces the research method and research route of this paper.Secondly,it mainly illustrates several groups of concepts and their relations: geographical concept,connotation and extension of geographical concept,literacy,geographical literacy,geographical core literacy.And then the relationships between geographical concept,geographical core literacy and geography curriculum are mentioned,followed by the theoretical basis and practical basis of this study.Thirdly,by analyzing the contents and forms of the examination of geographical concepts in the national papers in the past three years,the author summarizes the ideas of the examination of geographical concepts in the national papers.In the fourth part,the author investigated the problems existing in the concept teaching of senior high school geography teachers in our city by questionnaires and analyzed them.Fifthly,through the concrete teaching design and implementation of the formation,interpretation,application and evaluation of the geographical concept,discusses how to infiltrate it in the geography concept teaching.Finally,conclusions and prospect.
