The Curriculum Standard of PE and Health for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition revised in 2020)(hereinafter referred to as PE Standard 2020)is a revision of the Curriculum Standard of PE and Health for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition).Based on "PE standard 2020",this study studies the teaching conditions,venue equipment,teachers and students' cognition of curriculum standards,PE curriculum design,PE teaching,academic evaluation and academic effect of senior high schools in Huaibei City.Using the method of questionnaire survey,interview method and other research methods to Huaibei city 10 ordinary high school571 students in the questionnaire survey,and Huaibei city 42 physical education teachers were investigated,while Huaibei city part of the physical education teachers were interviewed,and in the investigation process through the observation method to understand the actual situation of the school.The results show that there are several problems in the implementation of P.E.and health curriculum in Huaibei city :(1)the gender ratio of P.E.teachers in Huaibei city is unbalanced,and there are few teachers with high professional titles.(2)In Huaibei city,the teaching situation of optional class system is poor.(3)Lack of teaching content,lack of health education in actual teaching.(4)One-sided teaching evaluation basis,teaching evaluation is not objective,credit giving disorder.(5)Students are not active in PE class,and their participation in class is low.(6)Schools and teachers have a deviation in understanding of "teaching,practice and regular competition",and the system is not perfect.In view of the present situation,the following strategies are put forward :(1)train a team of highly educated,young and experienced teachers.Pay attention to the balance of male and female PE teachers.(2)Combined with the school resources and students' will,according to local conditions to carry out PE optional class teaching.(3)To increase the teaching content of health education and ensure the teaching hours of health education.(4)Improve the evaluation basis and evaluation standard,consider students' suggestions,do a good job in credit granting,and ensure the fairness and justice of evaluation.(5)Change students' cognition of physical education,arrange students' tasks in class,and let students take the initiative to participate in physical education.(6)Teach students to apply what they have learned to practice in practice,improve the school competition system,and ensure that each link of "church,practice and competition" promotes each other and grows each other.
