In 2011 the Ministry of Education promulgated the Compulsory Education Sports and Health Curriculum Standards(Revised edition)(New Standard for short),the New Standards was revised and improved on the basis of experiment draft in 2001.Compared with the experimental draft,the New Standards have significant changes in characteristics of curriculum,curriculum idea,curriculum objectives,curriculum content and so on.How to put the New Standard content into practice is a big challenge in the sports teaching.The strong support of school leaders is the key condition to promote the smooth implementation of the New Standard.Teachers' cognition and execution of the New Standard is directly affect the smooth development of the New Standard.Students' cognition and acceptance of the New Standard also indirectly affect the smooth implementation of the New Standard.The faculty and site faculty are the mandatory of the New Standard.This study intends to using literature data method,questionnaire survey method,interviews,statistics and other research methods to investigate the leadership,physical education teachers,students,teachers and venues of Zhangzhou City public junior high school.In order to discover New Standard implementation problems encountered in the process and corresponding counter measures and provide reference for New Standard smooth development in Zhangzhou City primary school.Research has show that: Zhangzhou City has made certain achievements in the nearly five years practice of New Standard currently.It's characterized by the New Standard attracted the attentions of school leaders,the status of physical education get obvious improve and the commencement rate reached 100%.The Teaching content is rich,the teacher's education and their age structure are in a reasonable range,the students' physical fitness has improved,students' satisfaction degree of physical education is relatively optimistic.But the New Standard is still needs improvement in the process of implementation in some areas as follow.1.New Standard still did not draw enough attention of school leaders and lack ofstrong support,such as the school facilities funding shortage;2.Teachers' teaching methods,evaluation methods,assessment methods are too single,lack of attention to the emotional experience of students;3.The lack of qualified teachers cause heavy workload to some teachers,therefore,they can not devote to physical education full fledge;4.The school opens the physical education class with the administration class,not optional course.There is no small class teaching.Since a larger number of student in one class,PE teachers can not fully pay attention to the healthy development of every student;5.the lack of some sports facilities in school are not conducive to carry out some sports and dispel the volume of some students.This paper using a full range of investigation and analysis to promote the rapid and smooth implementation of the new curriculum from the aspect of enforcement efforts to implement the school leaders,teachers and students experience,school teachers and venues and so on.Ultimately promote the development of students' physical and mental health and the consciousness of lifelong physical education.
