After the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,my country's tourism industry has entered a period of highly integrated development.Minister Hu Heping pointed out that the tourism industry should adapt to the characteristics of people's consumption in the new era,and the development model should change from quantitative growth to quality deepening.my country's education model is gradually changing from "exam-oriented education" to "quality education".Research tourism is not only the product of the reform and development of the tourism industry,but also the result of the overall quality of education.Research tourism has formed a development trend in our country.Dalian has abundant tourism resources and broad development prospects,but due to insufficient market development,the development of youth research tourism in Dalian is very limited,which restricts the development of research tourism in Dalian.This paper uses literature research method,field inspection method,interview method and questionnaire survey method to clarify the characteristics of youth research tourism behavior through the research on youth research tourism behavior,so as to more accurately promote the market development of youth research tourism,and also lay the foundation for the cultivation of youth quality..Firstly,through literature research,it explains the concepts of research tourism and tourism motivation,and expounds the theory of tourism demand,tourism behavior,and STP,which lays the theoretical research foundation of this paper.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey and interview method,the characteristics of youth tourism behavior and SPSS statistical analysis are carried out.The results show that there is a clear preference for the type of research tourism;Behaviors are still concentrated in Dalian,nearby cities in the province,and other cities in the province,belonging to the small and medium-scale category;families are the main source of income for research tourism expenses,and the acceptable consumption level is below 2,000 yuan;research tourism consumption structure from high to low The rankings are accommodation,sightseeing,food,transportation,shopping,entertainment,and shopping and entertainment account for a lower proportion;each variable has significant differences under different age characteristics,indicating that there are significant differences in research and tourism behaviors of young people of different ages.Once again,through the analysis of the development status and problems of Dalian youth research tourism market,it is found that Dalian youth research tourism has the problems of single research tourism product structure,old-fashioned development thinking,and narrow marketing channels.Finally,through the STP analysis of the three types of target market selection strategies,combined with the research and the Dalian youth research tourism market,after a comparative analysis,it is recommended that Dalian youth research tourism adopts a "differentiated market strategy",which is both educational and experiential.,public welfare,follow the ideas of "resource-based","overall development" and "brand building",fully consider the age level of teenagers,and the research focus of each school age group is different,enrich the structure of tourism products,and scientifically develop the research tourism market.,Expand the marketing channels of research tourism,rationally allocate and develop research tourism resources,make it play a higher research value,and also provide reference for Dalian to build a youth research brand.
