With the constant change and development of information technology,and the wide application of big data,Knowledge of programming is increasingly valued,In high school,students mainly learn algorithm and program design,which is a compulsory course in high school information technology courses,This part is also clearly required in the Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020).The new curriculum standard also repeatedly emphasizes that the curriculum should advocate project-based learning and focus on students' learning in projects.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,this research is the teaching practice of the high school information technology "Algorithm and Programming" course module.This paper first sorts out the relevant literature on project-based teaching and Algorithm and Program Design,and sorts out the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of project-based teaching.After investigating and analyzing the learning status of students in the course Algorithm and Program Design,it analyzes and summarizes the existing problems.Then combined with the new standard for the specific requirements and the project type teaching mode of design ideas and principles for the design of the project teaching in the algorithm and program design course teaching mode,and connecting with the actual life and students' learning characteristics of design for two teaching program,select the ability level of roughly the same two classes as experimental subjects and teaching practice.The final item to test the effect of the type of algorithm and program design course teaching,the adoption of questionnaire,interview,classroom observation and classroom quiz is used to evaluate a variety of ways,such as,finally it is concluded that the project type teaching in the application of the algorithm and program design course can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning,promote the collaborative learning ability for students in the classroom.
