With the promulgation of the General high school chemistry curriculum standards(2017 Edition),the concept of understanding of chemistry subject was formally put forward,meanwhile,the method of plate teaching design has also been concerned by researchers and teachers.This article did the research by the method of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,and experimental analysis.In the first place,the current research status of subject understanding and plate teaching design were comprehended and summed up,and the practical application level of subject understanding in high school chemistry teaching was explored.Subsequently,the constituent elements of the teaching plate were analyzed under the intervention of subject understanding,and the strategy of plate teaching design based on subject understanding were suggested.The ways to develop teachers' subject understanding were summarized,and the teaching design cases were proposed.Finally,the teaching design was applied to teaching practice,and the changes of students' grades were analyzed through experimental data.According to the experimental conclusion,students' performance has been significantly improved by the ideology and method of plate teaching design based on subject understanding.
