With the changes of the times,people's ideas are becoming more and more diversified.The change of the concept of marriage and love has increased the divorce rate year by year in China,and the number of children in single-parent families is increasing,which has attracted the attention of many scholars.As a special group of children in society,children from single-parent families urgently need extensive attention from all walks of life.Relevant research shows that children from single-parent families are more likely to encounter various problems and challenges emotionally,psychologically,behaviorally and other aspects due to factors such as changes in the family environment or family structure.Emotional management problems,as a relatively common problem,are related to the healthy growth and development of individuals.If these children's emotional management problems are not properly guided and regulated,they will affect their growth,development and socialization.Human emotions do not exist all the time,and having good emotional management ability is extremely important for individual development.Emotional management is an indispensable topic for children's growth.Childhood is a critical period for emotional education.Improving children's emotional management ability is conducive to children's healthy growth.As a special group,children from single-parent families are affected by the family environment and living environment,and there are certain emotional differences compared with children from normal families,which are more likely to lead to bad emotions in them.Therefore,improving the emotional management ability of children from single-parent families can help them grow up healthily.This study took 10 listed pro-family children in H Community,Baoshan City as the research object.Through preliminary research,it was found that these 10 listed pro-family children had problems in emotional management.It is mainly manifested in weak emotional cognition and understanding ability,weak emotional expression ability,and insufficient emotional regulation ability.Based on the emotional ABC theory and the dominant perspective theory,9 group activities of "I am an emotional housekeeper" were carried out for these 10 service objects.Combined with the group activities,four children from single-parent families with serious emotional problems were selected to carry out eight case services.In the service process,social workers use professional theories and skills,combined with interesting games,situation simulation and other methods to help 10 service objects learn to recognize and recognize their emotions,and also learn to reasonably express and regulate their emotions.Through this service,these 10 service objects have been more motivated to participate in activities.At the same time,they have been exercised and improved in emotional management.They have a good awareness of emotional recognition,emotional expression and emotional regulation,and have mastered more effective methods and skills.According to the results of the emotional questionnaire and the post-test results of the scale,the scores of 10 service objects have been significantly improved through the service,indicating that the services carried out by social work have achieved the expected goals and achieved good results.Social work is necessary and effective in improving the emotional management ability of children in single-parent families.After the service,social workers made a summary and put forward suggestions to give full play to the role of social work in the field of children from single-parent families,consolidate the professional foundation of children's social workers,optimize the implementation environment of welfare policies,and promote children's social integration.
