Practical Research On Group Work Involved In The Spiritual Comfort Of The "Five Guarantees" In Rural Nursing Home For The Elderly

In recent years,the degree of aging in my country has continued to deepen,and the elderly care problem has become more and more serious.For rural areas where economic conditions are relatively backward,various types of elderly care facilities are not perfect,and social attention is not high,the problem of elderly care for the elderly needs to be solved urgently.Among the issues of providing for the elderly in rural areas,the issue of elderly care for the special group of "five guarantees" in rural areas is particularly worthy of attention.This study took the author's internship in the T Nursing Home for the elderly in Zhoukou City,Henan Province as an opportunity,taking the "five guarantees" elderly in the nursing home as the research object,through observation method,interview method and questionnaire survey method,to understand the basic situation of the T Nursing Home and the "five guarantees" elderly in the nursing home,To study the current situation and needs of the "five guarantees" in the mental comfort of the elderly in T nursing homes,analyze the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in the mental comfort of the "five guarantees" elderly in rural nursing homes,and use the "active aging theory and activity theory" as an example Guidance,conducted practical research on the spiritual comfort of the “five guarantees” elderly in the nursing home by carrying out 6 group activities,and evaluated the effectiveness of the group work.The study found that: T Nursing Home has problems such as low bed occupancy rate,extremely imperfect facilities and equipment,few staff and low level of professionalism,and lack of medical staff;the "five guarantees" elderly in the nursing home are in "interpersonal communication,cultural entertainment,emotional comfort",etc.The need for spiritual comfort is urgent but not met;professional methods and service concepts of social work are necessary and feasible to intervene in the spiritual comfort needs of the "five guarantees" for the elderly;group work intervenes in the spirit of the "five guarantees" for the elderly in rural nursing homes Consolation activities have achieved good results,helping the "five guarantees" elderly to consolidate interpersonal relationships,experience mutual support,enrich spiritual and cultural life,relieve negative life emotions,establish a positive and healthy life attitude,and enjoy a happy elderly life.This research has theoretical and practical significance for solving the problem of elderly care in rural areas,promoting active aging in rural areas and related research.
