A Practical Study On Intervening The Interpersonal Communication Of The Elderly With Group Work

There are many psychological and physical problems as you get older,which can have an impact and be difficult later in life.Some elderly people choose to take advantage of their leisure time to pursue their dream of continuing their education at a university for the aged.In the process,there are many problems in daily communication,such as language conflict,communication obstacle,interpersonal relationship disharmony,dealing with interpersonal relationship badly,avoiding interpersonal communication,etc.This has brought about a decrease in the quality of life for the majority of the elderly,which seriously affects their wellbeing.Taking h university for the aged in Xinjiang as the research site,taking the students with interpersonal problems in the university as the service object,using the research methods of literature,interview and participating observation,we understand the basic situation of h university for the aged,and the current situation of interpersonal communication of students,combined with the relevant theory analysis of the problems and needs.Under the guidance of activity theory and social support theory,using group work method,designing support group project,through group study,participating in game group interaction,more deeply realize oneself and others,find oneself and others advantage,reflect on your own shortcomings.In the group to form a good atmosphere of self-help and mutual help,learn to expand social support network,so as to help students alleviate interpersonal problems goal.Finally,the paper evaluates the effectiveness of group work in improving interpersonal problems of the elderly,and summarizes the deficiencies of social workers in providing intervention services,lack of experience in organizational leadership and professional skills in team work.Social workers need more help and support in the practice process so as to better develop professional services.
