In 2020,China will have 167 million people over the age of 65,accounting for about a quarter of the world's elderly population.The increasing number of the elderly population means that our country is facing a serious pension problem.With the increasing demand for pension services,the traditional family pension model has been unable to meet diversified pension needs,so pension institutions have become the choice of more people.As the staff providing services for the elderly,the nursing staff largely determines the quality of the elderly service,so they have gradually attracted the attention of the society.At present,affected by a variety of factors,nursing staff are faced with such problems as poor working environment,high working intensity,long working hours and great working pressure.The survey results show that most nursing staff have the problem of job burnout,which seriously bothers the daily work of nursing staff and is obviously not conducive to the development of nursing institutions and the improvement of service quality.It is of great significance to improve the service quality of old-age care institutions and promote the sound development of China's old-age service industry to solve the dilemma faced by old-age care workers and alleviate their job burnout.In this study,28 nursing staffs of X institution in Nanjing city were selected as the research objects.Through in-depth interviews,participatory observation and scale measurement,relevant data of nursing staff were collected to analyze the causes of nursing staff s job burnout.The research shows that the job burnout of nursing staff is characterized by many negative emotions,cold working attitude and low sense of achievement.On the personal level,high work pressure,weak professional identity and lack of social support,in addition,the lack of salary incentive and rigid management system in the institution combine to lead to the problem of job burnout of old-age care workers.In the practical stage,under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and social support theory,this study adopted the supportive group work model and carried out 8 group activities for service objects.Social workers encourage service object establish confidence positive change,gradually can solve the problem of their emotions and stress at work,the service object of job burnout has formed a more scientific cognition,and help the service object to their families and the support of the institutional level,ended up as the service object to build perfect social support network.The evaluation results showed that the level of job burnout of the service object decreased obviously,and the team work intervention basically achieved the expected goal.At the end of the practical process,the social worker reflected on the group work model,the intervention process and the role of the social worker,and realized the limitations of the group work in the practical process.Finally,some Suggestions are put forward and the research conclusion is summarized.
