The National Education Conference was held in Beijing on September 10th,2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping set new higher requirements on the personnel training as well as the construction of teaching staff in the new period.He pointed out that it is necessary to promote the modernization of education and to build up a powerful nation of higher education,so as to construct the education which people are satisfied with.To achieve this goal,teaching staff construction should be the basis all the time.In view of this instruction,as an indispensable role in the process of mass tertiary education,private college enjoys a promising prospect.However,the loopholes in the teaching staff construction have severely limited the development of private college and university.Under such situation,it is urgent for both private college and its teachers to focus on the reforming of teaching staff construction.This paper takes Chongqing R College as the research object,and uses the demand hierarchy theory,fairness theory,system management theory,and new public management theory.Through questionnaire,150 questionnaires are distributed and 124 are collected.The effective rate is 82.6%.Based on the deep research on the teaching staff construction of R college,the author analyzed its actualities objectively and figures out numerous problems,such as singleness of incentive mechanism,lacking of pertinence in training system,imperfection of appointment system,stiffness of evaluation principles,imbalance of teaching staff structure,etc.In the process of analysis,the author applied a large number of researching methodologies,including questionnaire,literature research,interview,and so on,and collected all the data from the worldwide advanced experience.In the last part,the author proposed that R college should better incentive mechanism and satisfy the physical and psychological needs of teaching faculty.It was also suggested that teachers should not just focus on the routine work,but more importantly,they should strengthen their professional skills to realize personal value.In addition,it is necessary to improve internal environment of school,perfect appointment system,introduce the third party assessment to break the external barriers,strengthen the awareness of structure and optimize the structure of teaching faculty.The researching results are expected to serve as the references for the reforming of teaching staff construction in other private colleges.
