The Master of Business Administration(MBA)education in China has been established for 29 years since 1991.Over the past 29 years,we witnessed the extraordinary achievement of Chinese MBA education with the rapid socio-economic development in our country.As an MBA education,it has created a precedent in the field of professional education and has achieved numerous "firsts" among postgraduate education in our country.First of all,it is the first professional degree in China.Meanwhile,China founded the first professional education steering committee for MBA education,which innovated the management mode for MBAs.It improved traditional examination concepts as well as methods of examination and paid more attention to the assessment of students'comprehensive quality rather than just the requirements of grades.At the same time,it created the quality assurance mechanism of education and granted degrees according to the type of professional degree.Other than the previous methods of granting degree regarding categories,this new approach enriched standards for degrees in China.Also,considering the current social situation in China,MBA set up Executive Master of Business Administration education for special groups in society.The purpose of this is to enhance the ability of people at different stages to serve society.In this study,questionnaires were used to understand and analyses the concept of career,work and value among new-generation MBA students.It gave full play to the characteristics of human resources like initiative,enthusiasm and value in order to find explanations and solutions to the problems that are facing or are about to face in the career planning of newgeneration MBA students.This study will analyse through two levels,on is the career and planning of individuals,and another is that of organisations and individuals.These two levels include internal and external demands as well as internal and external causes of the career.Look at career planning through two opposite perspectives and find the commonalities between organisations and individuals in their career.Treat career management and planning in a more scientific and effective to reflect the values of individuals and organisations.It will help to achieve the goals set for themselves in their careers quickly.For MBA students,they can avoid losses and gain profits in their career development to make their career planning more meaningful in practice.While for schools,they can learn from research results,reform curriculum plans,and enhance the value of MBA education.From an enterprise perspective,career planning can improve their competences when facing competitors,meet the needs and reserves of talents,implement talent management strategies,and reduce talent management risks.This article takes the form of a questionnaire to investigate and analyse the current MBA population.A total of 227 students from different universities in Nanjing answered this questionnaire.Questions were asked from students'basic situation,learning purpose,working philosophy,career development,etc.Statistical Product and Service Solutions software was used to collect and analyse data to explore the factors influencing the career development of new-generation MBA student.It mainly includes these students' basis of job selection,industry conditions,income levels,expectations for MBA studies,future career planning goals and changes in current working behaviour methods.Through a detailed analysis,it provides some ideas for MBA student regarding their future career planning and has certain reference significance for new-generation MBA students in our country.
