Research On Chinese Postgraduate Enrollment System Based On Institutional Vicissitude Theory

As a gateway to graduate education,the enrollment system is the key to selecting outstanding talents and building a high-level talent team.Based on the theory of institutional vicissitude,this article conducts an in-depth study of the development and evolution of the enrollment system for postgraduate students in China since the reform and opening up.Through the analysis of the internal logic of the enrollment system change,it clarifies the characteristics and laws of its evolution and explores the existing problem,reasonably foresee the path direction of the enrollment system reform.Since the reform and opening up,China's postgraduate education has been rapidly restored and reconstructed.Under the leadership of the government and driven by the political and economic environment,it has undergone slow and gradual changes.It has successively experienced a period of regulation adjustment and deepening reform,and has entered the current stage of connotative development.During the period,a diversified enrollment system was formed and a large number of high-quality talents were cultivated for China's socialist construction.The changes in the enrollment system are affected by both the formal system and the informal system,showing obvious path dependence characteristics.However,in the design and arrangement of the system,China's postgraduate enrollment system still has some areas to be improved: the main body of the enrollment system is disparity in power,and the government's administrative force interferes too much;the enrollment standards and procedures are not scientifically sound,mainly reflected in the cumbersome enrollment process,single enrollment standards;systemic inconsistency in system design,and imperfect training system that matches the enrollment system.In response to the existing problems of the enrollment system,this article proposes relevant improvement measures: reshape the value basis of enrollment,promote the balance of fairness,efficiency and quality,and build a comprehensive,classified and effective enrollment system;while giving full play to the government's leading position,expand the autonomy of enrollment units,highlight the dominant position of tutors;dynamically adjust enrollment plans,and continuously promote separation of enrollment and examination;build a three-dimensional enrollment system,strengthen supervision,and improve training and diversion mechanisms.Through the linkage of the government,universities and the society,we will jointly promote the healthy development of postgraduate education.
