President Xi Jinping pointed out that "education should be at the forefront of the times." Today,our education paradigm obviously follows the traditional teaching model,and it is difficult to meet the needs of the times and the challenges of the future world.In response to the great changes of the times,the state has proposed a strategy to deepen comprehensive reforms in the education field,emphasizing the need to accelerate the implementation of new curriculum reforms.The curriculum reform of the fine arts discipline has undergone a transformation from "double basics" to "three-dimensional goals" to today's "core literacy".The core literacy proposed by the new curriculum reform is the deepening of the first two.The article responds to how to implement core literacy in today's curriculum teaching.Nowadays,many schools choose appreciation courses as compulsory courses due to the influence of teaching resources and are unable to carry out the module courses required by the curriculum standards,resulting in insufficient selection of teaching and single content of students.However,teachers still use the traditional "one lesson,one practice" teaching method,which is particularly limited.Art appreciation teaching lacks links to the knowledge system exploration and hands-on practice,and the process and exploration links are not implemented,so it is difficult to achieve the expected results.The "knowledge" and "experience" of the art discipline are equally important,and it is difficult to obtain it by just listening to lectures and reading books.The "technique" of fine arts illustrates the characteristics of the discipline.Students must experience large units of research-based learning,combined with real situations and experience through practical experience in order to acquire and internalize knowledge.The core literacy proposed in the new curriculum reform emphasizes that students should focus on acquiring knowledge and skills from practice while learning subject facts and subject concepts,so as to form key problem-solving abilities.Based on the background of the new curriculum reform,the author uses the large-unit curriculum teaching mode to conduct practical exploration of high school art appreciation teaching.The purpose is to use the relevant research experience for reference and study as well as the analysis of the current situation of high school art appreciation teaching,based on teaching practice and cases,in order to explore the requirements of the new curriculum reform,use the large unit research teaching mode to promote appreciation through practice,To improve the teaching quality of high school art appreciation courses.The author uses Wiggins' “WHERETO” teaching strategy as a large-unit teaching guidance method to explore how to implement the five core qualities in the process of high school art appreciation teaching so that students can acquire key abilities.The specific measures are to formulate large-unit teaching design and detailed small-unit teaching plan by integrating the content of teaching materials,clarify the learning objectives of small-unit courses,design teaching processes and teaching activities based on questions,and combine process evaluation and course end-of-course evaluation Form a complete teaching.The knowledge structure adopts a step-by-step teaching method to lead students to in-depth exploration of learning content,and use situational teaching to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning.Through the study of the new curriculum reform and the related theoretical research of large unit teaching,the author understands the basic concepts and connotations of the new curriculum reform and large unit teaching,and the relevant research results obtained at home and abroad at this stage.The current situation of high school art appreciation teaching in Zunyi City was investigated through teacher-student questionnaires and teaching and research seminars,and its phenomena and problems were analyzed.It puts forward the necessity of implementing the large unit course of art appreciation in high school and the key to its implementation.Discussed the prerequisites,teaching mode and implementation rules for the implementation of large unit courses.Through the analysis of the current situation,design a large-unit implementation strategy that meets the actual situation and carry out case practice.Through the research and analysis of the practical process and teaching results,it explains the advantages and feasibility of the large unit teaching of art appreciation,and reflects on the limitations of the research and the future direction of improvement.
