Research On Transformation And Upgrading Of China's Online Game Industry

With rapid internet development and broadband technology penetration,China online game market has achieved incremental growth depending on human scale.At present,domestic industry slowed down and is facing a bottleneck.How to seek a new path for transformation and upgrading is conducive to improving the phenomenon.Meanwhile,suitable direction can be found through scientific analysis of the industry transformation and upgrading.In addition,it can not only promote a new round of enterprise competition and market share division in the game industry but also make the performance of the cloud game segment more obvious.In this paper,it aims to analyze the influencing factors and realization path of the online game industry and provide suitable support for the transformation and upgrading of the online game industry.Basing on the concept of the online game industry as well as the transformation and upgrading characteristics of the online game industry,there are these stages of research.Firstly,the connotation of transformation and upgrading of the online game industry is clarified by collecting and organizing the literature related to the online game industry.Secondly,the evolution of transformation and upgrading of China's online game industry is analyzed,and the online game industry is further studied from three aspects of market structure,market behavior,and market performance with the help of SCP paradigm analysis.And,based on the panel data of 53 listed companies of the online game industry related to online game industry listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares and Hong Kong H-shares from 2015 to 2019,the transformation and upgrading cap is introduced to construct the transformation and upgrading rating cap of the online game industry.After that,an empirical study is conducted on the development of online game enterprises,enterprise R&D investment,and government subsidy utilization in China to explore the mediating role of government subsidies in enterprise innovation development and R&D investment.Moreover,the structural equation model is constructed to analyze the paths from four perspectives of innovation,R&D,market,and talent to deeply investigate the transformation and upgrading paths of the online game industry.Ultimately,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical research,conclusions are drawn as well as relevant policy recommendations and directions for regulating enterprise behavior are proposed.The results show : for the whole industry,technological progress significantly promotes the direction change of industrial structure,and innovation intensity plays a significant role in promoting the relationship between technological progress and industrial transformation and upgrading ability,but industrial competition will inhibit its mediating effect.Technological progress and wage level of large enterprises jointly promote the transformation of structural potential,while small and medium-sized enterprises mainly rely on technological progress to enhance the transformation of structural potential.The transformation effect of industrial structure in first-tier cities is more obvious,and the agglomeration effect of enterprises is more obvious.
