At present,our country is in the era of rapid development of science and technology.Under the circumstance of extremely fierce global competition,in order to cultivate more high-quality talents,China has carried out education reform and vigorously expanded the enrollment of college students.At the same time,due to the rapid development of economy and Internet technology,a number of social problems have frequently erupted in domestic social culture.As communicators and transmitters of current social culture,college students must be deeply affected.Under a series of social contradictions and improper management factors,colleges and universities have also become places with high incidence of crisis events,which not only destroys the normal education and teaching order of colleges and universities,but also damages the interests of teachers and students,affecting the students' growth and development of the colleges and universities.Frequent crisis events arouse managers' thinking.Strengthening crisis management in colleges and universities is a practical problem that must be faced nowadays.After data collection and sorting,China's highest administrative organ has begun to attach importance to crisis management.Facing with crisis events,the government,citizens and relevant social organizations have basic and detailed laws.At the national level,documents such as the "General Implementation Plan for Management of Popular Science Education in Public Emergencies","Education System Emergency Plan for Public Emergencies","Education System Emergency Plan for Public Emergencies" and other documents have been promulgated,and revised laws and regulations such as "The Law on the Protection of Minors" and "The Law on Compulsory Education".At the provincial level,in accordance with the relevant national laws and regulations,the "Overall Emergency Response Plan for Public Emergencies in Sichuan Province","Education System Emergency Plan for Public Emergencies in Sichuan Province",and the "Decision of the Sichuan Provincial and Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government on Strengthening and Improving Emergency Management Work" and other regulations have been formulated.Crisis in colleges and universities is one of the important parts of public crisis,it means college crisis management is also a research scope of public crisis management.Scholars at home and abroad have put forward crisis management theory in the field of education based on crisis management theory in the existing political,economic and social fields,defining accurately university crisis and formulating a series of research on crisis management operation procedures as a solid foundation for crisis management in colleges and universities.However,in the construction of the current crisis management system in our country,it is not difficult to find that we need to improve before,during,and after the crisis.In this paper,the famous American crisis management expert Robert Heath proposed the 4R model of crisis management of reduction,preparation,response and recovery,and selected four universities in Chengdu to analyze the universities in depth through case analysis,questionnaires and interviews on crisis management issues,and put forward improvement measures.First of all,through literature collection and research,starting from domestic and foreign research,this paper summarizes the current problem elements,causes and optimization strategies of crisis management in colleges and universities.Secondly,it selects four specific colleges and universities in Chengdu as representatives,takes the "4R" crisis management theory as the analysis work,and analyzes the problems existing in the emergence stage from the four stages of the theory.The stages are as follows,"reducing force" : lack of crisis prevention education,and the organization of crisis management is not perfect;"preparation force" : insufficient crisis assessment,insufficient crisis monitoring,and insufficient implementation of plans;"response force" : specialization of crisis response Low level,unreasonable crisis response methods;"resilience" : psychological recovery is not taken seriously,and reputation recovery is not in place.Finally,in terms of the relevant principles that should be followed in crisis management in colleges and universities.From the establishment of decision-making organizations and professional crisis management,and strengthening crisis education to optimize crisis reduction management.From improving crisis prejudgment,formulating crisis management early warning plan mechanism,and giving full play to early warning In terms of monitoring functions.We should optimize crisis preparedness,propose strategies to improve crisis management from the normalization of crisis management team training and the establishment of a diversified main body management structure,and propose management measures to optimize the crisis recovery stage from the perspective of psychological intervention mechanism and reputation recovery mechanism.It is hoped that these feasible improvement measures can help colleges and universities improve their efficiency in dealing with crisis events.Because the sampling methods of this paper are not diversified enough and limited,the data will inevitably have defects.Also the question setting of the questionnaire is not deep enough and specific.Higher vocational and ordinary undergraduates,will be analyzed in detail to build a more complete crisis management system,improving the level of crisis management in my country's colleges and universities,which provide assistance for maintaining the harmonious and stable development of colleges and universities.
