Research On Community Participati On Of The Urban Elderly Involved In Social Work

With the advancement of population aging,the government vigorously advocates the construction of active aging.The national population development plan also clearly points out that the elderly should be encouraged to actively participate in community governance,continue to give full play to their waste heat and realize their personal value.At present,one of the important participants in urban communities is the elderly.How to stimulate the enthusiasm of elderly community participation and mobilize more elderly people to participate in the community has gradually become the focus of social attention.Social work is a comprehensive and helpful specialty,and its core is to help people improve their social functions.Social work plays a positive role in promoting community participation of urban elderly.The involvement of social work in community participation can meet the diversified needs of the elderly,realize their own value,promote the benign interaction between individuals and communities,and provide an important channel for innovative community governance.Based on the one-year internship in T community in Tianjin,this study understands the current situation of community participation of the elderly in T community,and carries out the investigation through the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.It is found that the overall frequency of community participation is low;The content and mode of community participation are relatively single;The enthusiasm of community participation is not high,and the awareness of community participation is not strong.Based on the current situation,this paper analyzes the causes of the current situation of community participation of the elderly,and tries to explore the practical exploration of social work intervention in urban elderly community participation under the guidance of advantage perspective theory,activity theory and social ecosystem theory,and evaluates the intervention activities.Through the evaluation,it is found that the direct service method of social work involved in the community participation of the elderly has its service effectiveness,including the improvement of the awareness of the community participation of the elderly,the deepening of the level of the community participation of the elderly,and the creation of a good community participation atmosphere.On the basis of the evaluation,it further puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the professional service process,improve the professional ability and literacy of social workers,enhance the emotional care and behavior support of family members,actively link multiple resources to carry out services,and build a long-term mechanism for the community participation of the elderly.
