Study On Influencing Factors Of Rural Residents’ Participation In River Head System From The Perspective Of Environmental Literacy

River head system is a new system for controlling river and lake environment,which is of great significance to improve human settlements.However,in the specific implementation,the lack of public participation often leads to the difficulty of giving full play to the effectiveness of the river head system.Therefore,in order to improve the enthusiasm of villagers to participate in the river head system,this paper introduces the theory of environmental literacy to connect the internal quality of rural residents with the participation behavior of the river head system,in order to find the influencing factors of villagers’ participation behavior and improve the participation level of villagers.On the basis of combing the relevant literature of river head system and environmental literacy theory,this paper constructs the research framework of "environmental literacy intention behavior".Taking the five dimensions of Environmental Literacy: environmental behavior strategy,environmental attitude,environmental values,environmental sensitivity and control concept as independent variables,this paper explores the impact of internal quality on Villagers’ participation behavior.In addition,combined with the situational factors proposed in the responsible environmental behavior model,this paper constructs an overall theoretical model.In the empirical study,this paper uses multiple regression model to verify the hypothesis by issuing a one-to-one questionnaire to 332 villagers in F Town,Hunan Province.The results show that environmental behavior strategies,environmental attitudes and environmental values in environmental literacy are significantly positively correlated with participation behavior.Among situational factors,economic incentive policy and publicity and education will also positively affect participation behavior.In addition,participation behavior intention plays an intermediary role in the relationship between environmental behavior strategy,environmental attitude and environmental values and participation behavior.To sum up,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: first,strengthen environmental education and cultivate villagers with good environmental quality.Second,strengthen publicity to make villagers understand the specific contents of the river head system.Third,establish incentive mechanism and strengthen villagers’ participation behavior.
