Because hydropower is clean energy,renewable,pollution-free,low operating cost,easy to carry out power peak,is conducive to improve the utilization of resources and economic and social comprehensive benefits.With the increasing tension of the earth’s traditional energy resources,the world has given priority to the development of hydropower resources.Hydropower station is a comprehensive engineering facility that converts water energy into electricity,which plays an important role in flood control,irrigation,navigation,overwood and fish.The computer monitoring system of hydropower station is a control of the power generation and conveying process of hydropower station.The control of computer can improve the automation level of hydropower station,power supply quality,safe operation level,labor productivity and economic benefit.Its application has brought great benefit to the production of hydropower station and marked the major change of automation technology.Horse horse cliff level cascade hydropower station for the beipanjiang river river mainstream planning the second level,is the last of a large hydropower station in guizhou province,the computer monitoring and control system has strong representative,can basically meet the power production of power station operation requirements.The object and meaning of the automatic operation of hydropower station is that the increase of economic efficiency and reliability.It can guarantee the quality of electric energy,increase the productivity,improve the labor condition and decrease the operation stuff.This paper mainly focused on the study about the hardware-in-loop of LCU and software program.We have explained the collection,storage,control and export of data in LCU in hardware.We also have studied the control order and logical judgement of halt mode,idle mode,no-load mode and electricity generation mode of the unit,including the source code,point table of address.Internet construction,system design,control program,software function and practical application of the monitoring system of Mamaya hydropower station was analyzed in this paper.According to the control of generate unit,it performs more automatically in the operation.The generate unit and auxiliary equipment was monitored and auto-controlled.The whole operation was managed according to the operation of hydraulic turbine set,during which the electrical equipment can be monitored,controlled and protected.The power of the generate unit can be auto-regulated by the control system in this paper.We can choose the optimal number according to the demand of power station and achieve the economic load distribution.When accident happens in the working unit or frequency of electric system reduces,the pare unit can auto-start.When the system frequency is too high,some of the generate unit can ben auto-excluded.The human-computer interface of system is fluent and friendly,which is suitable for the operation habit of the most people.Words can be shown and printed,conveniently for the operation and maintenance.The research in this paper is valuable to the monitoring for engineering and is helpful for the debugging of the newly-built hydropower station,and it is useful for the guidance and monitoring on the operation safety of the whole hydraulic turbine unit in the hydropower station.
