Landscape Design Of Suzhou Fengqiao Park Under The Cultural Heritage Of The Grand Canal

The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is the longest artificial canal in the world,stretching 1794 kilometers from north to south,connecting eight provinces and cities.The Grand Canal has experienced a long time,leaving behind splendid historical and cultural resources,which is an important part of the history and culture of the Chinese nation.After the reform and opening-up,the transportation industry has been upgraded,resulting in the gradual decline of the shipping function of the Grand Canal.Therefore,during the development and construction of the cities along the Grand Canal,the protection and inheritance of the Grand Canal culture are neglected,and the landscape environment along the Grand Canal is destroyed.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "it is necessary to fully tap the rich historical and cultural resources of the Grand Canal,protect,pass on and make good use of the precious heritage left to us by our ancestors."Taking Suzhou Fengqiao Park as the research object,based on the background of cultural protection and inheritance of the Grand Canal,this thesis explores and shapes the urban ecological integration waterfront landscape construction that continues the context node of the Grand Canal,displays regional cultural characteristics and promotes ecological harmony.Firstly,the research status of canal culture and waterfront landscape at home and abroad is summarized,and the design strategies of excellent design cases at home and abroad are analyzed.Correctly realize that the construction of urban waterfront landscape under the background of the protection and inheritance of canal culture in China today needs to clarify the direction of cultural inheritance,improve the recognition of regional landscape and restore the ecology of canal landscape.Secondly,it is a study on the expansibility of the basic concepts of the Grand Canal culture and urban waterfront landscape,which covers the development,connotation and characteristics of the Grand Canal culture,a brief description of the characteristics and functions of urban waterfront landscape,and a clear business relationship between the Grand Canal culture and urban waterfront landscape facilities.After summing up,thinking and concise practice,the design principles and strategies of urban waterfront landscape under the background of the cultural heritage of the Grand Canal are put forward.Finally,taking Suzhou Fengqiao Park as the design subject,the innovative design practice is carried out.The design process pays attention to the solution strategy of shaping the canal cultural theme landscape system,multi-line layout narrative space and enriching the humanistic ecological function.On the basis of fully respecting the historical culture and natural status of the site,it strives to organically combine the humanistic landscape with the ecological landscape to form the canal waterfront landscape with certain regional cultural identification and ecological friendliness,which provides ideas and reference for the study of canal city waterfront landscape.
