In the complex and changeable business environment,enterprises have great demand for effective enterprise management and scientific decision-making methods.Enterprise operation and management performance evaluation is an important tool to regularly review the past operation and management,scientifically evaluate the effect of operation efficiency,and find advantages and disadvantages,which will help to improve the operation and management level and realize long-term organizational development.At the same time,the construction industry is an important practical department that contributes greatly to economic development.How to evaluate and improve the operation and management performance of construction enterprises is an important practical problem.At present,China’s construction enterprises generally have challenges in operation,such as high degree of industry competition,low profit margin and large fluctuation of construction cost.The level of enterprise operation and management needs to be improved,which puts forward higher requirements for the scientific evaluation of the operation and management performance of construction enterprises,so as to find problems and improve operation.Based on the limitations of the current research on enterprise management performance evaluation and the lack of research on construction enterprise management performance evaluation,this study constructs the construction enterprise management performance evaluation system.Firstly,with the support of stakeholder theory,relationship performance theory and sustainable development theory,this study analyzes the influencing factors of operation and management performance of construction enterprises,and selects corresponding quantitative or qualitative indicators to measure from the four dimensions of financial performance,organizational management performance,human resource performance and social performance;Then,using the scientific management analysis methods such as analytic hierarchy process(AHP),Delphi method and interview method,this paper constructs a comprehensive management performance evaluation system of construction enterprises including three levels.This study applies the operation and management performance evaluation system in the construction industry to evaluate the operation and management performance of Company DT from 2016 to 2020,so as to analyze the advantages and disadvantages in operation and management.It is found that Company DT has made some progress in the overall improvement of financial performance and the enhancement of comprehensive strength such as organizational management,human resources and social performance,but it has some defects,such as unstable profit,poor cost management ability,high debt risk and insufficient social responsibility.Company DT’s operation and management performance improvement countermeasures mainly lie in enhancing income stability,enhancing cost control,improving debt structure,improving the level of social responsibility,etc.The contribution of this study lies in the following aspects: First,according to the characteristics of Company DT,this study explores and establishes a relatively perfect construction enterprise management performance evaluation index system to enrich the enterprise management performance evaluation theory.Second,this study builds a targeted and practical construction enterprise management performance evaluation method to improve the systematicness,comprehensiveness and operability of construction enterprise management performance evaluation.Third,through the combination of classical management theory,scientific management methods and practical frontier,we combine theory with practice,enhance the practical application of operation and management performance evaluation of construction enterprises,help to find the deficiencies in the operation and management of construction enterprises and put forward improvement countermeasures,and play a strong guiding and enlightening role in the practice of construction industry.
