Research On The Design Strategy Of Community Embedded Micro-aging Facilities In Xi’an

In the current situation that the aging of urban population is becoming more and more serious and home care is the basis of China’s elderly care model,it is urgent to help the elderly in urban communities to solve the difficulties of elderly care.After years of development of senior care services,community embedded micro senior care service facilities have been quietly developed in more and more communities,which can provide suitable professional services for the elderly and provide effective ideas to solve the growing demand for senior care in the community.Xi’an is still in the exploration stage of standardized management,design and operation of community embedded micro elderly service facilities.The community embedded micro elderly service facilities in Xi’an that have been put into use are faced with unclear definitions,multiple embedded types,a wide variety of types,and mismatched service space and service contents.Based on this background,this paper selects thirty-two representative sample cases in seven administrative districts of Xi’an,including Lianhu District,Xincheng District,Beilin District,Yanta District,Weiyang District,Yanliang District and Gaoling District,using the well-operated community embedded micro-aged care service facilities as cases,and collects and compiles six data including the community where the facilities are located,building location,embedding type,embedding function and embedding carrier,and concludes that The three types of community embedded micro elderly service facilities in Xi’an are activity type,day type and full day type.The current situation of different types of community embedded micro elderly service facilities is analyzed in ten aspects,including site selection,embedding type,embedding carrier,construction scale,service content,functional configuration and area ratio,embedding method,spatial layout and flow design,main functional space combination relationship,and typical cases.The possible suitable modes of facilities for Xi’an are presented.Combining the results of the above-mentioned research on the types of embedding,functional space and future suitable modes,the general principles of embedding design for community embedded micro elderly service facilities in Xi’an are summarized,and four suitable modes of future community embedded micro elderly service facilities in Xi’an are proposed: recreational activities,service support,day care and recreation,and continuous care.The analysis focuses on the feasibility of the four future models in terms of configuration conditions,service groups,service contents and layout patterns in existing communities.The study starts from seven aspects: site selection,scale,embedding type,embedding carrier,embedding method,functional configuration and area ratio,facility function and spatial layout,and proposes the most suitable systematic design strategy for the future four modes of facilities under ideal conditions,so as to promote the development of community elderly care in Xi’an and provide reference for future practice projects in Xi’an.
