| At the beginning of the 20 th century,the teaching of modern architecture in Vkhutemas came into being with the innovation of production mode and the rise of new art movement after the October Revolution in Russia.Vkhutemas’ educational concept broke the stereotypes of inherent classicism,opened up highly innovative educational theory and teaching practice,opened a new era for modern architectural design at that time,and left a far-reaching impact on modern architectural design in future generations.However,due to the repression of the government and the containment of the development direction of the social environment in the later stage,Vkhutemas modern architectural education did not continue to carry forward,and then became a legacy of the long history of modern architectural education.In recent years,with the deepening of scholars’ exploration of the architectural design concept of Vkhutemas Institute of Architecture,Vkhutemas has been more and more recognized for its unique design concept and teaching practice.This paper puts forward that Vkhutemas has formed a creative teaching method in teaching,and takes modern architectural education as an innovative method.It is considered that the research on the development process of Vkhutemas architectural education is not only an important way to understand its era value and the formation mode of education,but also to learn its influence and guiding significance for modern architectural education.Firstly,this paper combs the development process of Vkhutemas,analyzes the process from the germination of architectural education to the development of architectural education to its decline,grasps its rise and fall as a whole,and reflects its era progress compared with the classical architectural education.After that,the article focuses on Nikolai Ladovsky,the important leader of educational concept of Vkhutemas in the vigorous development period of modern architectural education,introduces and combs the development of modern architectural education mode advocated by him from the four parts of foundation,maturity,climax and decline,and pays attention to the brand-new teaching system and teaching concept such as space course created by him.Then it discusses the composition and teaching methods of modern architectural education of Vkhutemas,analyzes the characteristics of preparatory education and specialized education,and analyzes teachers’ architectural creation and students’ curriculum homework through the exploration of the teaching methods of composition training and architectural design training,which can be used as the evidence of Vkhutemas’ successful teaching examples.Then,the article discusses the revival and inheritance of Nikolai Ladovsky’s teaching concept,which includes both teaching concept and educational theory.Finally,the paper summarizes and analyzes the achievements and influence of Vkhutemas modern architectural education.It is considered that it has developed a systematic art education and combined art and technology.Taking architects Rem Koolhaas and Zaha Hadid as examples,this paper analyzes the impact on it,and then puts forward the enlightenment of this educational method to contemporary architectural education. |
