According to the problem of frequent rut disease of asphalt pavement at the intersection of urban road,a durable anti-rutting asphalt overlay structure reinforced by RoadMesh steel wire mesh is proposed based on the improvement and reconstruction project of existing cement concrete pavement in Panpan Road of Changsha City,where the steel wire mesh is set between the middle and lower surface layers.On this basis,through indoor and outdoor tests and test road paving,its various performances are tested,and the corresponding reinforcement construction technology and key quality control technology are researched,so as to provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for engineering application.(1)Through the investigation on the diseases of asphalt pavement at the typical intersections in Changsha,the main types and causes of diseases are analyzed,and the corresponding range of disease-prone areas is determined.Thus,the asphalt overlay pavement scheme reinforced by RoadMesh steel wire mesh at the intersection in the supported project is proposed,in which the asphalt surface layers are directly paved after the resonant rubblization treatment of the existing cement concrete pavement.According to the checking calculations,all design indexes of the pavement structure meet the specification requirements.(2)Through the mix proportion design and pavement performance test for asphalt mixtures,the comprehensive performances are compared and selected for three kinds of AC-25C in lower surface layer and four kinds of AC-20C in middle surface layer.Among the three AC-25C,the comprehensive performance of A-70#common asphalt mixture is the worst,and the pavement performance of 3%BRA modified asphalt mixture is equivalent to that of SBS modified asphalt mixture.Among the four kinds of AC-20C,the comprehensive performance of 3%BRA-SBS composite modified asphalt mixture is better than that of three kinds of asphalt mixtures such as A-70#common,SBS modified and 3%BRA modified asphalt mixture.Thus,the rationality is verified for selecting and using 3%BRA-SBS composite modified AC-20C and 3%BRA modified AC-25C as the middle and lower surface layer materials in flat intersection asphalt pavement,respectively.(3)Through a large number of indoor tests,the pavement performance and durability of the composite specimens reinforced by RoadMesh steel wire mesh between the middle and lower surface layers are evaluated.RoadMesh steel wire mesh reinforcement can significantly improve the asphalt pavement performances of deformation resistance,water damage resistance and shear resistance etc.At the same time,RoadMesh steel wire mesh reinforcement can also significantly improve the residual bearing capacity of pavement structure after failure.(4)Through the test road paving,the construction technology and key quality control technology of RoadMesh steel wire mesh reinforced asphalt pavement are summarized and proposed.The construction effect and performance are tested and evaluated,and the technical economy of reinforced and unreinforced pavement is compared and analyzed.The results show that the construction quality control of RoadMesh steel wire mesh reinforcement is excellent,which can effectively improve the bearing capacity and deformation resistance of pavement structure with good performance and economic benefits.In summary,the results of this thesis provide a scientific basis and engineering experience for the technical application of asphalt pavement reinforced by RoadMesh steel wire mesh at urban road intersection.
