| The competition between companies become even more serious,the cause is the development of economic globalization and technology.Competition already changed,the versus between individuals to versus between industry chains.For the past few years,China’s auto industry progressed at top speed,as a major member of the business,auto parts production enterprises getting the profits from the rapid growth of the industry,in the mean while also facing the rigorous contend.As the ripe of auto industry,the companies between the upstream and downstream in the auto industry are increasingly closely connected.The healthy development of these enterprises is a prerequisite for the steady development of the automobile industry.Suppliers are the source of products and services,they are extension of the enterprises,they control the cost,quality and service level of products in some respect.So excellent supplier management skills are the necessary conditions that an enterprise in the competitive advantage.This article takes company F for example and based on relevant theories of supplier management.In accordance with the actual status of F company,apply the theory and practice method together,meticulously and in-depth work out of F company’s supplier management defects.Firstly,the current situation of F company’s supplier management was obtained according to the personnel interviews and company’s operating conditions.Then we analyzed the cause of the company’s problems.The first problem is that the supplier evaluation method lacks a scientific evaluation and selection mechanism,the primarily reason is excessive focus on short-term goals,short of long-term arranging and restricted level of expertise of management personnel.Second problem is short of risk control methods and risk early warning institution.The root cause is the weak consciousness of risk control for suppliers.The third problem is supplier classification unreasonable,which is caused by insufficient attention to material classification and supplier classification.Aiming at the problems existing in supplier management of F company,propose specific improvement plans according the qualitative and quantitative methods.First is to formulate the vendor evaluation and selection institution by using the AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Second is based on FMEA method to develop supplier risk control plan.Third is managing the vendor classification through Kraljic Model etc.Finally,come up with the primary guarantee measures for the perform of the proposal.While solving F company’s vendor management problems,wish it also can possess a definite reference function for other same type enterprises. |
