| Since Buddhism was introduced into China in the Eastern Han Dynasty,it has been constantly mixed with Chinese Confucian thought, metaphysical thoughts and folk beliefs, with distinct local characteristics and spatial pattern. On the one hand, the unique political, economic, cultural and social background of southern Jiangsu and its superior geographical location together create the grand occasion of the gathering of Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu, which determines the high correlation between social people and Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu since ancient times. On the other hand, vision,as an important sense connected with the temple, can intuitively receive the spatial structure information of the Buddhist temple through vision. Therefore, the study of the visual characteristics of the spatial structure of Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu is of great significance to clarify the internal layout rules of Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu, the role change of Buddhist temples to adapt to modern society, and the protection and promotion of Buddhist temples. This Taking the visual features of the spatial structure of Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu as the research object,it is extracted from the report of the Religious Affairs Bureau of the State Council, with the representative temple of Hanshan Temple,West Garden Temple and Tianning Temple as the specific research site.Research with literature inductive qualitative research method and space syntax quantitative research method, from the buddhist temple space visual experience and visual configuration, the visual experience based on Kuangao theory, elaborated the buddhist temple in southern space narrative sequence Kuangao pattern, from the perspective of actor dynamic feeling to describe the real space.Visual configuration is based on the analysis of space syntactic area, through space syntactic simulation software for visual permeability, line of sight conversion characteristics, line of sight restriction and shading, traffic, synergy, five kinds of seven indicators of quantitative analysis, that the south Buddha temple space visual configuration of syntactic model features, and summarizes the factors affecting the overall spatial structure of the temple. Finally,a comparative analysis of real space visual experience conclusion and syntax model conclusion is conducted to verify the advantages of real space and space syntax research. The visual experience results show the following characteristics:(1)the Buddhist temples in southern Jiangsu follow the sequence pattern of interweaving and opening and closing two instruments, showing the spatial phenomenon of the cohesion of monks and Buddhas and the Dharma hall, and the centripetal of the garden and the extension of the water.(2)The axis is distinct, the circumference is transparent, and the characteristics of southern Jiangsu. The visual configuration results show that:(1)different element types affect the spatial visual characteristics of the Buddhist temple. The building wall controls the visual direction;the surface green water area has the greatest influence on the temple space in southern Jiangsu;the strongly separated linear fence plays a strong guiding role;the dotted plant reduces the visual shading of the temple and participates in the transfer to create the visual axis. The arrangement determines the spatial atmosphere. The visual influence of point, line and surface elements increases.(2)The building volume is positively correlated with the square area and penetration length. The larger the building covers, the larger the square in front of the building, and the larger the openings of the doors,Windows and corridors that permeate with the outside space.(3)The great temple area of the Buddhist temple in southern Jiangsu province is negatively correlated with the width ratio and the degree of visibility. The closer the space is to the square, the better the visibility is.When the aspect ratio is between 1.06-1.62,the space has the strongest visibility and is less visible above1.71.(4)The degree of visibility is positively correlated with the enclosure length, and over 134 meters is the square enclosure length range with good visibility.(5)The longer the wall of the enclosed site, the greater the Angle of sight formed by the edge of the door, window, corridor and the outside world and the center of the square.(6)The circumference angle ratio is positively correlated with the sight agglomeration coefficient and the circumference length ratio in the site. Most of the space between308-343 have poor visibility, while lower and higher enclosure angles below 288 and350-360 have better visibility. The enclosure Angle ratio of the square in front of the main hall is between 12.85-35,with the highest circumference ratio, the strongest space enclosure, and good internal visibility. This research innovation is mainly reflected in the determination of the big hall space and hall space structure of quantitative visual features, namely the visibility best and poor aspect ratio range, visibility good circumference length and circumference angle range, get the big hall before the square circumference angle ratio, can provide reference for the south of the Buddhist temple design practice in the future. The shortcomings of the research is that the overall temple structure visual in-depth research number is less, space experience analysis in the form of field observation and independent experience and the lack of field visitors perception questionnaire research, space syntax in vertical space research on the limitation of the southern Buddha temple space steps and rockery elements on vertical omission, need to supplement through the field perception. |
