| Along with the significant advancement in China’s overall economic allocation,the domestic construction industry has undergone a meteoric transformation.The soaring price of housing has fueled and accelerated the industry’s rapid expansion.However,a considerable improvement in construction quality has not kept pace with the booming economy.The extent of informationization and collaboration in engineering construction is still relatively low,and the quality control process is not all-inclusive and transparent.Frequently occurring quality issues and construction accidents not only drastically restrain industry development but also severely jeopardize the residence safety.The article firstly analyzes the current state of domestic and international research,secondly combines the theoretical foundations of both construction management and modern management,and finally applies BIM technology to formulate a management strategy that comes up to the current situation of Company A with the goal of improving construction quality.The article primarily includes the following aspects:1)summarizes the current construction quality management problems in company A using data collection and interview methods,with preliminary analysis of the main factors affecting construction quality;2)utilizes the hierarchical analysis approach to further analyze Company A’s construction quality management,meanwhile evaluates the construction quality and management communication ability in response of the analysis results,then concludes the weakest point of company A’s construction quality to provide data support for the system of construction quality improvement strategy;3)applies the PDCA cycle theory to specific projects of company A,and implements rectification and correction on the actual project construction management process to achieve quality improvement,cycle management,and sustainable development;4)summarizes company A’s construction quality management optimization measures,and applies Mc Kinsey 7S model to provide assurance for the implementation of on-site construction quality management optimization,in order to escort company A’s construction quality management optimization measures and achieve the goal of construction quality improvement.The PDCA cycle theory outlined in this paper has effectively resolved various issues associated with poor,chaotic,and open-loop management of traditional construction,and further realized the objectives of informatization,collaboration,and sustainability for construction management by implementing BIM technology,which has accorded with the requirements of modernized development in construction quality. |
