The main engine remote control system is an important part of ship engine room automation which can improve the safety and reliability of ship operation.In order to train the crew to control the main engine remote control system and deal with emergencies,various maritime colleges are focusing on the development of a simulation system for the main engine remote control system.Traditional simulation systems are restricted by conditions such as space,cost,and risk,and cannot meet the needs of large-scale personnel for repeated operation and practice.However,Web technology has the characteristics of "zero client" and is not subject to the above restrictions.Therefore,this article combines the main engine remote control system and Web technology to develop a web-based marine diesel main engine remote control simulation system.First of all,mathematical modeling of diesel main engine.According to the working principle and actual composition of the diesel main engine,it is divided into multiple modules such as diesel engine cylinder,scavenging box,air cooler,exhaust pipe,exhaust gas turbocharger and so on.The mathematical models of each module were established by using the regression calculation method,differential equation of ship motion,d ’alembert differential equation,thermodynamic formula and so on,and the accuracy of the models was verified.Taking the AC C20 main engine remote control system as the research object.Establishing the logical model of the main engine remote control system’s speed control,speed limit,load limit and other functions,and combine it with the diesel engine mathematical model to achieve the corresponding control effect according to its actual functions and control effects.Then,using Web technology to develop the operation simulation interface of the main engine remote control system.Developing system front-end pages,designing layouts,and restoring actual operating scenarios via HTML,CSS,and Java Script technologies.And to provide system publish,data storage and other functions via ASP,database and other technologies.According to the modularization idea,the remote control system of AC C20 main engine is divided into modules such as bridge,control room,machine side and governor.The response events are added to them,and the PID control algorithm is embedded to simulate the dynamic change process of throttle scale and diesel engine speed,so as to show the actual operation effect.Formulating reference test questions,convenient for users to practice and self-testing according to the relevant provisions.Finally,the system is tested after development.The logging function,operation effect of components,emergency start operation at the side of the machine and speed regulating operation in the central control room of the system were tested.The test results show that the system meets the expected design requirements and can realize the main control functions of the remote control system of the main engine.Because the system uses Web technology as the support,the operation is not restricted by the client,which greatly enhances the flexibility of use,and provides a reference for the development of simulation system by using Web technology in related fields.
