Research On The Aging Of Public Space In Nanjing Old Community

With China’s gradual entry into a heavily aging society and the establishment of the "9073" elderly care service system,community public space has become the most closely related and frequently used public activity place for the elderly.The early low standard construction of old communities and the relatively higher proportion of the elderly population make the contradiction between supply and demand of public space suitable for aging in old communities particularly prominent.To this end,this study is guided by the "elderly oriented" and takes 12 sample old communities and the elderly in Nanjing as the research object.From the two dimensions of supply and satisfaction,it adopts the methods of semi open interview,on-site exploration and questionnaire survey to carry out a survey on the supply level and satisfaction of the aging of public space in the sample old communities and a matching analysis to reveal the problems and causes of the aging of public space in the old communities,Put forward the aging renewal strategy of the public space in the old community.This study is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is the research foundation of the thesis.Firstly,it expounds the research background,research purpose and research significance,and clarifies the related concepts,research objects and research technology routes.Secondly,it interprets the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly group,the relevant research literature,practical exploration and relevant laws and regulations on aging renewal in the old community,which provides theoretical support and research basis for this study,and finds out the problems that need to be improved and further studied.The second part is the investigation and characteristic analysis of aging supply and satisfaction of public space in old communities.Based on the establishment of the Aging Survey element system composed of three types of space,five aging elements and multiple aging indicators,this study investigates the aging supply level of public space in the sample community and the satisfaction of the elderly,and analyzes the matching between supply and satisfaction.It is found that the aging supply level and satisfaction of public space in the sample community are generally general,and the overall supply level and satisfaction of outdoor space and traffic space are relatively low.In terms of matching,although the three types of space and five types of elements have relatively high matching,there are problems such as low matching level,supply mismatch and low matching,which are mainly related to the low construction standards of old communities,the shortage of space resources and the high aging rate.The third part is the research on the renewal strategy of the old community public space.According to the evaluation and analysis of the matching between the aging supply and satisfaction of the public space in the sample community,combined with the main aging supply problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions,including taking the old as the foundation,improving the security of the public space in the old community;Take multiple measures to improve the perfection and comfort of public space in old communities;Improve services,and improve the diversity of activities and service items for the elderly in old communities;Step by step,continue to improve the aging level of public space in old communities;Strengthen the guidance and improve the effectiveness of aging renewal of public space in old communities.
