At the ACI Airport Economic and Financial Conference held in London in March 2016,Angela Gittens,Director General of the International Airport Association,proposed that non aviation revenue can improve the diversity of airport revenue sources,especially in the economic downturn,providing an additional source of airport revenue.The airport will no longer only provide infrastructure for aviation activities,but will develop into a flexible and forward-looking enterprise.Setting non aviation commercial functions in the terminal has gradually become an important means of profitability for large terminals.With the continuous exploration of non aviation commercial functions in the terminal,the new business model in the contemporary terminal will surely replace the traditional operation model focusing on shipping transportation.There is a lack of overall planning for contemporary large terminal buildings,the proportion of commercial distribution is out of balance,and it is unable to cope with different consumer groups and their behavioral preferences.This paper will conduct a systematic study on the impact of passenger flow organization and passenger demand on the design of commercial space,and carry out research on the design of commercial space for large airport terminal buildings based on passenger demand.According to the research background,basic research,object analysis,case study analysis,design strategy application,and the logical research route of practical demonstration,the article consists of six chapters,of which three to five chapters are the core chapters.The first part is the introduction to the research background(corresponding to the first chapter),which mainly discusses the research background and current situation.Through consulting relevant literature,it combs and analyzes the development and current situation of large terminal commerce at home and abroad,understands the purpose and significance of its layout,defines relevant concepts,and expounds research methods.The second part is the basic research(corresponding to the second chapter).It analyzes the composition characteristics of the commercial space layout of the terminal,and comprehensively discusses its main functions,business type composition,classification and layout mode.It is also emphasized that the commercial space in the building should be coordinated on the premise of meeting the convenience of passenger flow and conforming to the trend of the times.This chapter is the basis of the following research.The third part is the object analysis(corresponding to the third chapter).It systematically studies the impact of passenger flow organization and passenger demand on the commercial space layout in the modern terminal.Analyze the psychology,consumption characteristics,shopping behavior and consumption psychology of passengers in the terminal.This chapter provides the basis for the following case analysis and strategy application.The fourth part is the case study analysis(corresponding to the fourth chapter),which analyzes the commercial planning and commercial layout space design of three large airport terminals with different configurations at home and abroad,providing an example basis for the strategy application in the next chapter.The fifth part is the application of design strategies(corresponding to the fifth chapter).It puts forward the key points of design strategies from multiple dimensions for the planning and layout of the commercial space of the contemporary terminal,including the diversified design strategies of the commercial space of the terminal,analyzes the layout of commercial formats in combination with passenger processes,diversity of passenger groups,regional cultural themes and other aspects,and introduces in detail the layout of multi type experience formats,modern materials and color design applications,The role of the Internet and hightech intervention in business planning.The sixth part is the practical demonstration(corresponding to the sixth chapter).Combined with the design strategy summarized from the analysis of the previous chapters,taking the T2 terminal of Baiyun Airport as the practice object,the commercial layout was optimized according to the design strategy.During the design process,the interview record was also conducted with the commercial planning and operation team of the airport.This paper is expected to provide some new ideas for the research of the commerce in large terminal buildings in China,with a view to guiding the function layout and streamline organization of the terminal buildings,and providing some reference for the design practice.
